![]() Yeah...the Knicks would definitely have to trade up.

We needed a bucket getter against the hawks when we went flat. Looks to be able to provide what Alec burks provides if his shot translates.

Warriors potentially get a guy who could sub in as a third guard and play next to Curry if Klay needs a break. Orlando gets someone who can take Gary Harris place so they don’t have to automatically sign him next year. The algorithm gives and the algorithm takes away

19+21 doesn't get you to 8-10. MRob plus 19 and 21 doesn't get you to 8-10. Some pundits are saying the Knicks will try to trade up to attempt to drum up some trade conversations about MRob with other franchises. This is the time of year where media pundits become mouthpieces for various GMs they want to maintain good functional relationships with in the league. Also someone might freefall to 19th overall. If the Knicks have a three player list at 14, odds are two of those guys might be there at 19 if they just stay put. The difference between 19th and 23rd-24th isn't so huge. Nor 21st to 28th. The Knicks might actually trade back in this draft. Most likely they catch someone freefalling at 19 and then trade back from 21 if there is a good trade to be had. Barnes will go 6th to 8th in range. Jalen Johnson likely 8th to 10th. That's a ton of draft capital to move from 19 to Barne's range. The team most likely to trade back for volume would be Houston. But only to the GSW. Not to the Knicks. Of the teams with the top 12 picks, ZERO have any reason to trade back for volume except Houston. Trading up and down in the draft is NOT as easy as some here make it out to be. There needs to be a team with a FUNCTIONAL REASON to trade down for volume. And the volume cost is too brutal for the Knicks to pursue a trade that could net a Barnes. Most media pundits are full of **** this time of year. |

That trade proposal with GS is one of those chances. But he was a top 10 candidate before the Combine and has really only improved his position. You know I gonna spin wit it

I think this the most likely outcome, and if we end up with either Keon Johnson (two way player) or Corey Kispert (sweet shot and oh so savvy) I would be very pumped I wouldn't be upset with Jalen Johnson but right or wrong right now I do not see him as a team player DLeethal wrote:

Watching that it is definitely hard to argue DLeethal wrote:

I really like it though, don’t go out on a whimper like Ainge did. Move up and grab some damn talent. The algorithm gives and the algorithm takes away

![]() Bouknight looks real smooth. I’m a huge fan if we trade up. He can play the 1,2, or 3 and play on or off the ball. Long wingspan and quickness should give him upside defensively with thibs. This isn’t a Jordan clarkson player, although that could be a reasonable floor. But his ceiling is an elite scorer in the league.

![]() I remember this guy was talked about as surefire first-rounder early in the season. Injuries and inconsistency dulled some of his luster, but I would definitely take a shot with the. 32nd pick, depending on who's left. Good size, athleticism and three point stroke. Shot creation needs work.
