As much as I like Randle, his worth ethic, even manner, and how he carries himself some things about his game are I’m not a fan.
I don’t love him bringing the ball and I don’t love Iso ball. We do a lot of it. Its what we grew tired of with Melo and he was great at it. I’m not here to bash either player. ITs a necessary component to a team to have players with that ability.
If Randle can still evolve as a player what is the next level to reach at age 26? Can he find a big contract on another team that will use him similarly? Is he a steppping stone type player?
Of course, how does OBI develope. 25 games in we are a bit nervous.

And good for him, then. Not like we didn't give him a chance. He may even end up in Europe.

The iso ball for Randle doesn't concern me as long as he's a great passer to go along with it. Teams will continue to throw double teams at Randle and if he can make them pay with his passing ability than there's no concern. Melo didn't do that well, except for Porzingis' rookie season.

He will get a couple more chances in the NBA given his age and talent, but he's sort of on that Mudiay timeline right now.

Randle is putting up gaudy numbers without a real PG playing next to him. Imagine Luka with Randle

You mean a world where Cade and Suggs aren't wearing Knicks jerseys? Can't do it

Please basketball gods let the Knicks come away with talent this year. We are so close to having a good team for the better part of the next decade

Cade is the ultimate prize and would be the perfect guard/wing to play alongside Quick and RJ. But as long as we land in the top 5, we are good. Tier 2 begins after 5, imo...or tier 3 depending how good we believe Cade can be.

Let's just develop Quickley into the next Luka (plus great 3pt shooting.) Simple solution.

Oh for sure, I'm just wondering how Randle would play with a legit PG is all

Cade would fit so well here.

The Mavs were defensive juggernauts tonight, holding the Warriors to just 147 points.

We need a SF in the worst way. Not that we should overly bias a draft for that but who is top SF?

Kuminga is easily the best. Followed by Zaire Williams, Corey Kispert, and Wagner in that order.

I prefer keeping RJ at SF so we can have a good shooter at SG, fortunately this draft seems to have some good SGs

Exactly! I know we are in the RJ-for-SG project, but really, get him a soft shooting SG that can also move the ball and develop Quick into the same at PG and watch him dominate even more.

RJ at the 2 makes the team physically imposing. RJ at the 3 we start to guve up size. A true 6'8 SF that can defend and shoot is ideal. Basically Mikal Bridges or Jerami Grant. Two players that we could of had

Call me crazy, but with his outside stroke could OBI with an improved handle be a SF candidate down the road? Perhaps his lateral slog on defense cannot be over come?
