Don't forget...Bullock shot 56% from 3. Payton scored 14 with 7 assists and 8 rebounds a plus 11. Randle a triple double.
Knox 14 points in 16 minutes and a plus 14. But Franks 16 minutes made the difference?
Miller figured this out last year as well.
Frankie's game adds chemistry. He shuts down their offense and opens up ours.
Its a pattern - not absolute but indicative.
It’s not hard to see that Frank had a huge impact on defense.... also Knox only had 6 pts he was a plus 14 although tibs pulled him for bad behavior in each half .
Gotta agree with Hofstra on this one. Frank didn’t really stand out in this one(That one jumper he hit was beautiful). Would like to finally see him be in a position where he can play WITH a quality PG over having to play PG himself. But the roster demands it at this moment.
Frank was OK. Thibs was asked about him in the post game. Thibs said Frank played great, played to his strengths (defense) and really helped them. Frank was NOT the key to the victory. We had 2 guys playing well and everyone else was ****. Randle and Bullock were the only guys doing any heavy lifting. What made the win great imo was seeing the guys just keep grinding and defending and attacking and eventually in the 4th we hit big shot. Payton obv had a GREAT 4th qtr and RJ also chimed in with some key buckets. This was Randle's game. Cle had no answer for his performance.
