Agree.
Opinions of Zeke nnaji? Jaden McDaniels?
I feel once McDaniels figures out his athleticism, body and skill set at 6-9 he can be definetly 15-18+ ppg player. It will take time. He needs g league time and to not be rushed.
I’m now looking for the highest upside player 23-30th pick who is not a Sg/Sf/pg if we draft vassel or Nesmith at 8.
Nnaji looks a Legit long term backup PF/C for 13 years.
Note: I do recognize Cassius stanley, Josh green, Tyler bey, Desmond bane, Paul reed.
I’m trying to figure the highest player potential upside without duplicating skill set we already have since we need everything.
I hope there is some kind of workout with Nesmith and Vassel. If I were scouting I would be looking to see if Nesmith slightly better shooting ability offsets Vassels Defensive intangibles. If you were to tell me Nesmith turns into a 18-20ppg wing, then he would be my choice.
I did notice Vassel has an ability to hit the long 2 from anywhere on the floor. His offense does give off reggie Miller viBes. If he develops his ball handling skills he has the chance at becoming a “complete” wing player for us for a long time. (interchangeable with RJ. Both at 6-6)SG\Sf
