Do you think many will be surprised by this? Don't think anyone will disagree that Frank has more defensive value. Certain stats just can't hide obvious problems that need to be addressed, Some even blur actual play. If you look at the +/- for Hawks game some can argue Smith Jr. played better than Frank in Hawks game. Which was obviously not true.

Fact is, Although some had Frank getting better on offense , shooting 6 for 21 for 28% and 1 for 9 for 11% does not give any team enough reason to want him?

There have to be a upstairs politic reason why coach Fizdale give Frank spot-minute of playing-time in a quarter, and then give players Mudiay, DSJ, and Payton seven or more straight minute of playing-time in a quarter.

Simple...Mudiay outplayed him and Frank couldn't stay healthy. Not sure why Frank apologizers always think there is some kind of conspiracy as to why he's not playing as much as they would like. Frank averaged 5 pts per, shot 34% from the field and 29 % from 3. He had an abysmal stretch where he missed dozens of 3's in a row and lost complete confidence in himself. Most times when Frank was on the court, it felt like we were playing 4 on 5 on the offensive end. Can he improve? Absolutely!! In Clyde's voice, "He's a neophyte!" But please, cut it out with the conspiracy theory nonsense.

The problem is that even when Frank wins the job, he can't win. Even when DSJ loses the job he can't lose.

Conspiracy? Who cares. Either the chips fall where they may or its all arbitrary BS.

Exactly what job has Frank earned since becoming a Knick? Dont believe anyone has earned the starting PG job. Not in this brief preseason. If Frank isnt the starter, wont be because he was robbed. Whoever starts at PG to start the season, might not be starting a month later. Going to take some time for Fizdale to sort that out.

Who gets the job has to keep it. Frank included. To me Morris at SF muddles the whole thing up. Should be RJ, with Payton and Smith. I dont' see Dennis as a PG.
The whole PG thing is over rated anyway. You need guys who can guard the other teams guards. I Like a four guard rotaton of Smith, Payton, Frank and Trier.
SF of Knox and RJ. PF Morris and Randle, Center Portis and Mitch. I don't care who starts, its who finishes!
