![]() This mock is from 4/30 but they have Trae going at 16. Interesting because I came across the site because one of the guys that writes for, The Stepien, also writes for this site. The Stepien ranks Trae as a tier 2 prospect and the number 3 prospect overall.

No way on Earth Young sits till 16– I’m not sure he passes 3 after thinking about it. It will be a weird draft RIP Crushalot😞

I’d say he was worth what they gave up and more considering how hard it is to find a Franchise Level QB! Trae Young IMO is a better passing version of small PG’s Like Kemba or IT. He’ll be a liability on D but should be a high level offensive play maker. I don’t think he’s what this team needs but if they took him I would expect they had a high ranking on him. |

There's going to be lots of smoke screens prior to the draft. Unless Young blows them away, I can't see them picking young over mikal. There's lots of PGs on this coaching staff including new addition Ivey. And we have plenty of PGs on the team to evaluate and compare. I trust this coaching staff....With there guard development. Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.
The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

![]() I like both Trae and Sexton but the guy that caught my eye is Lonnie Walker. He’s got a chance to go top 10 and blends in at Sg with Frank and KP. My ideal setting is grabbing Wendell at 9 and trading Lee or KO through sign and trade w either Clippers or Denver. I’d move Dotson if we had to for 12-13 and Walker.

Yeah I really like Walker’s Potential. I also like Troy Brown as a multi skilled Wing. Knicks need another pick or 2 😁 |

Walker's IQ needs work on the court. I like him a little later in the first round and wouldn't mind him if we traded back. Brown's shooting worries me and the Stephen did a podcast highlighting his athletic deficiencies. I like Hutchinson over him. Admittedly, I haven't watched Brown since his hot start earlier this season. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Comparing trae to jimmer is borderline retarded, jimmer didn't have the quickness, the floor vision, or the ability to finish are the rim. Even if trae is a suspect defender, he's fast, can shoot, and set dudes up lovely. Avg 8.5 assist in college is a BIG DEAL, especially when your teammates are below avg ES

He's got a lot of nice offensive moves... finishing at the rim is not one of them. We keep coming back to the same thing... people use Curry as a precedent. Curry, best shooter ever, MVP and first ballot HOF. Boy that is suspect decision making. I will say this... he's coming in for a workout. I dont think this FO is driven by splashy moves. They are preaching slow and steady so we will see. They have Burke. They have seen our guys. If they pick Young based on what they see with other guys on the board I will hope for the best and keep an open mind. That being said I have yet to see any argument of substance for taking Young at 9, based on his body of work and physical attributes "winning is more fun... then fun is fun" -Thibs

![]() Young shot 22.8 percent (28-of-123) in his final 11 games. He missed 21 straight 3-pointers during a three-game span. The Sooners lost nine of their last 11, including first-round exits in the Big 12 and NCAA Tournaments.Imagine if Briggs did his scouting during this stretch ![]() "winning is more fun... then fun is fun" -Thibs
