Would have to be Ryan Anderson and Ariza since Melo makes 26mil +TK and Anderson makes 19. Forward Anderson to Minny for Rubio Forward Anderson to Utah for Favors Forward Anderson to Denver for Faried Forward Anderson to Mavs for Matthews and pick I would love to get Ariza, always liked him. Cant believe Aria is still in the league, and a good role player. Like he discovered the fountain of youth. Been in the league a long time. I wonder if he is still delusional? I vaguely remember that quote, lol. You're going to have to refresh my my memory. With James activated, Ariza could be deactivated. Brown is furious Ariza raised the issue Monday that a lack of communication existed and “confusion” reigned in the locker room.Ariza, 20, was angered Brown told the beat writers before he told him of his demotion. “Every other coach has [spoken to him] a number of times,” Brown said. “He’s just delusional. Things get over fast with me. It’s what you do in practice every day. To say he doesn’t know what’s going on, he’s delusional.” Brown questioned the UCLA product’s attitude. “It has nothing to do with how he’s playing,” he said. “It has nothing to do with basketball. He’s just got to grow up a little and understand it’s a team and he’s got to act like a good teammate. “Sometimes when they hear it from me, that’s just coach,” Brown said. “We got five other [coaches] that have visited with him privately. And he heard something pretty specific from me before the game. If he doesn’t know, it’s because UCLA wasn’t a good academic institution.” Brown coached the Bruins from 1979-1981. Ariza, last season’s golden-boy rookie, said, “He just wanted the most out of me. He didn’t feel I was giving him everything I had. Everyone has their own opinion.” The latest feuds involving Brown, Ariza and James underscore a deeper issue of whether Brown is motivating or turning off the players. Brown’s brutal honesty hasn’t thrilled Isiah Thomas. When last week’s Stephon Marbury war erupted, Isiah told Brown to ease up. But Brown, 65, will do what he wants, and was stunned he had to take a media-training class in preseason Crazy how similar the circumstances are today. Thats it. Yup, one big happy family! I hope Dolan does an honest to goodness search this time for the best pres. Not those consultants who suggested that Mills should be the GM. I wouldnt mind Mills going back to being president if Gaines got promoted to GM though. Would be nice to see someone in-house earn the job. From what I've read he is a free thinker, not a company man. Might rule him out, but I would prefer Gaines to a celebrity hire. President is more powerful than GM, right? So you'd rather see Mills and Dolan be the two most powerful people in the organization? Mills (as Phil said) mostly does paperwork. Phil had an oversized role in the decision making process. Thats why other execs allegedly tried to talk to Phil on the phone, not Mills. The GM role was effectively neutered. Ideally I would want Gaines to make the call on trades, drafting, etc. and Mills doing what he can as pres to help the GM get what he wants to build a contender. Gaines strength is not as a GM. You are applying the Peter Principle to Knicks management by asking that people who are good at one thing must be great at another. You must be the guy advising Dolan. You dont know if he could handle the job or not, you're just guessing like everyone else. He is one of the few execs who has shined for the Knicks, he's earned a chance to show what he can do at he next level, running a team. His 'exec' position was talent evaluation. His title was given by Jax to be sure he was compensated fairly. He's not a bureaucrat. You demonstrate in post after post that you don't have a clue how organizations work. I'm guessing you're still in middle school given your responses. If you're not in middle school and only that smart it must suck to be you. Im not the one undergoing a summer of massive butthurt like you are. You repeatedly defended (thats all you do here) an exec with the worst record in franchise history, yet you claim that Im the one who doesnt know what they're talking about.
Look at you, going from one thread to another, spazzing out because your hero is gone. Grow the **** up.
What none of you seem to understand (because you're so stuck up Melo's arse) is that in order to take advantage of draft picks YOU HAVE TO LOSE. Phil and company GOT THAT - you didn't and don't. Phil gave Melo enough to win with but had a quick hook on the season. Being merely mediocre isn't going to get you the talent you need (see Hinke). Phil traded for a second group of players exciting enough to hold the fan's interest but not talented enough to interfere with his rebuild. Phil got it - you didn't, don't, and never will. The only social media butthurt I have is dealing with juvenile hemorrhoids such as yourself. You need to go back and read some of your posts today. You sound like a 14 year old fanboy, your interactions with others. Its not juvenille, its infantile. This has affected you in a way that should have subsided by now. We've all lost our cool here, but you're still out there somewhere. As far as Melo, I made it very clear at the time of his getting that deal that I didnt want him back for what Phil gave him. Never wanted him here, but that doesnt mean Im blaming him for everything either like you are. Again, Phil is gone. Get over it and move on.
