Willy and KOQ (how great has he been?!?!?) are playing well than save Noah his knees. He will be involved. If the team is winning he will accept any role and excel at it. I hope for the above (24mpg and 70 games)

I think we both agree that his minutes should be limited. I like the idea of bringing Noah off the bench because it gives the team the luxury of putting in a fresher player than someone who had played a large block of minutes in the first half.

Barnes, on the other hand, _has_ looked like a keeper, even a max contract keeper. He's averaging 22.5 and 5.5 boards and generally balling in Dallas. I'm not sure he's going to keep improving and hit all-star level but he's a hard worker, a level head, and all signs are that Dallas is going to get their money's worth out of Barnes.

Barnes its funny because he was absolutely brutal in pre season--I thought it could be worse than I expected. But Barnes has been very very good. I was way off the mark on this one. Noah on the other hand well hes been terrible 8 out of 11 games--that ratioe is not very good and I dont expect it to change much. We easily could've lived without his $. As we are speaking iof this Courtney Lee has also been terrible the last 5 games. Thats over 30mm combined--that is a great deal of money.

The problem with Noah though, seems to be more about fit. I don't think he is done, but it puts other players playing in weaker positions.
Start KP at the 5 and bring Noah off the bench, or vice versa (but the latter doesn't seem to make sense from a talent standpoint.)

Having Noah start and just getting beat on from the get go (again) is a bit worrisome. Maybe we can work it out but it seems like Starting Noah at the 5 and then putting KP at the 4 and Melo at the 3, hurts us.

It's not up to the players to bail out the owners for their stupid decisions. If a player is working hard and has sacrificed his body and will live the rest of his life with back pain, he deserves the compensation he was guaranteed.

Sorry if I disagree. I'm not talking about a bail out. I'm talking about pride in holding up your end of the contract.
