The sooner we can find someone who is reliable enough to send Noah to the bench the better. Would love for him to be a solid, reliable bench player for the next 3 years.
I think he's the starter while he's here, but remember Kurt Thomas when we first had him?? Before we stunk he had some great years. He started over LJ and played about 24mph. The guy was valuable. Also guarding the toughest player, bringing hustle, making plays... Noah is a different version of the same idea. Noah can be an impact player, and at the very least every 3rd game he will play 35 minutes and be a critical cog. Other nights he will sit an entire half in favor of a small player and it will be the right move. The point is we need him and that depth is incredibly valuable. Ball mover, rebounder, defender, leader, spark plug.... he was a monster last night and we really need wins right now. For what he brings, if we get 24mpg and 70 games from him it was a great signing.
He makes you flexible. You can take him out for a small, move KP/Melo to the 5/4. You just have options, and the less he plays the more crazy and effective he gets. If the young guys... Willy and KOQ (how great has he been?!?!?) are playing well than save Noah his knees. He will be involved. If the team is winning he will accept any role and excel at it. I hope for the above (24mpg and 70 games)
