wow I instantly noticed Melo's lack of enthusiasm for his teammate. Par for the course of course

Yup, typical behavior from a despicable person. If he ain't shooting it, no one should shoot it, even if it results in a win!

I truly hate those people in life. People that can't be happy for others unless they get the shine.

Calling him a "despicable person." I really feel sorry for you, and your obsession.

Yes

Laker feed commented Melo was looking right at Kobe (as seen in pic). Posture was more about Kobe and not rubbing it in. And btw. Quote that "He really wanted this" was about the win. It's alright though Chuck. Just a few more hundred Melo hate posts and you will probably convince yourself it's true. We all know this is because of your boyfriend Lin. Broken hearts are hard to mend.

If Melo stays with the Knicks the remainder of his career, are you going to continue this approach each day for the rest of that time? Or will you leave like tkf? I ask because its really dragging down the board. It's not constructive since he's playing for our team. Flooding the board with this stuff about our best player really isn't useful for the fanbase. Just my 2 cents.

Oh Melo will, and ChuckBuck will as well. He had the chance to leave like tkf, but decided instead to fill the void. As others have said, like BRIGGS, he's now providing a useful level of side entertainment to the board.

It is starting to be a little scary though, bordering on some type of obsessive compulsive disorder. He's starting to seem like a jilted lover. Given his past, I'm thinking there was some sort of poor autograph seeking incident that went awry.

And the winner, for best effort, at the Melo haters ball goes to... Your attempt at trying to crap all over a clutch performance and good win. Why so mad? You must of cried when he hit the two threes and put Nance on skates. Troll much? Figures why you'd hate.

you get weirdly upset on his behalf.

Wait a second, shirley you dont think sarcasm is "weirdly upset", as you seem to use it quite often. And nah, i don't get upset over any forum post. Just pointing out made up BS. As that is what forums are for, right? Just keeping those trying to create valid points when they are just personally against someone honest. Respect when people just say I don't like the guy and move on to next subject. Not when they try to make stuff up just to make their hate feel justified.

Btw. Speaking about weirdly upset, lets discuss why Melo shoots the T.

yes. all about the numbers and things that make zero sense. Personal?

whats your take on that? It is not ok to come down on everything but its ok to ignore anything negative? There is no logical reason for this. I have been fairly calling out melo for years in regards to the things that I considered unacceptable while other just blindly gave continuous passes.

You seem too reasonable to not be balanced.

So fans of the team who want to talk about the team they love should stay away because the forum is filled with trolling hate posts by a small but extremely vocal crowd?

You seem too reasonable and balanced to believe such a stupid thought.

We always had the best foul shooting percentage guy take the technicals on my teams. Just makes sense. Did have the leading scorer on the squad wanting to take it at times. And I think some coaches actually like to see their best player step up and want to shoot it. For me, preferred coaches establishing that it was a privaledge given to the highest percentage. Motivated the best players to work on foul shooting.

Think for Melo, it may be a perception of being a leader. The coach, should establish that it makes more sense to have Calderon or the highest percentage player to shoot the T. To me it's on the coach.

It's never on Melo. The last 3 seasons are always someone else's fault. The coach, the roster, the system.

At least that's what I gather reading some of these posts. Yet, somehow he's improving his overall team game this year (13 seasons too late), even though the team record doesn't reflect it.

I wonder when some of you will wake up and smell the coffee.

yeah, I miss the smell of warm IT and Starbles in the morning...and Gallo, missing an entire season... and watching Stat break down after being ridden to death like a two dollar ho at a bachelor party in a state prison. Losing games because Al Harrington is slapping backboards... watching Nate the Great score at the wrong end of the court...No DLee making dayum sure he's out of the lane, out of frame and out of focus anytime an opponent gets anywhere near dunking...

Seriously, who the fuhuck wants to smell the playoffs and the 2nd round for the first time in almost 15 years? Who wants to watch someone lead the team in every category except fouls and turnovers? Scoring 62 points? Feh...

It's much better to beeyatch endlessly than to post .... YOUTUBE MELO threads...

Seriously ChuckyBuck, at least tkf was related to Mardy Collins, what the fuhuck is your motivation?

Jrodmc, you make it seem like reaching the 2nd round of the playoffs is some sort of accomplishment. Like we won the championship or something. We barely beat the beaten down and old Celtics in the 1st round that year, and got dismantled by the Hibbert Pacers.

In the 90s with the Ewing/Pat the Rat Knicks and even the latter part with the Houston/Spree/LJ Van Gundy Knicks, a 2nd round exit would seem like a disappointment.

Please don't move the needle backwards, don't settle for mediocrity. Very ugly fandom to just accept losing product and loser play.

So you like the smell of really really old coffee. Got it.
The '90's. Holee sheehit.

Yeah, and in the 70's, the 90's would have been a disappointment because we got no chips.

ChuckBuck, you seriously need to read your own posts and possibly think about the meaning of the words "ugly" and "fandom". It's not too late, you can come back. Nobody would think any less of you.

Well maybe dtkf7th and guns would, but they think less of everyone anyway...

To me it's on the coach.

so its on all the melo coaches but of course not melo

Ok. Guess you like mediocre Knicks play. We've sucked for about 15 straight years. Got it.

Of course no one wants me to mediocre. But what have been our alternatives these past 15 years? Being really bad, thats it. This isn't the 90s. Those days are over. Dolan and Isiah had the team in the basement. Melo coincided with our team being lifted out of one of the worst eras for any sports team to being mediocre. There was progress, which peaked with a playoff series win. I was at the game that the Knicks won the series in and i was happy we were able to do it. Trust me it was worth it. It was progress. It sure beats the Isiah era. Yes the goal is to win a title, but i would rather be mediocre and moving in the right direction, which we are. Melo was the main reason we were able to finally win a little bit, and now he seems to be passing the torch to KP in due time. I'll take that over the Isiah days any time.
