Not about an individual player it's the reality that our frontline is to slow to guard and the offense gives kp little room
Your reality, sure isnt mine. If you could change either the frontcourt or the backcourt in the offseason, which one would you choose? Just one choice.
Id remove melo and go with 3 guard sets and the two bigs and I might put either KP or Lopez on the bench(come off the bench) if I needed to to get my chemistry down pat. In the future it would be KP at 5 a mobile 4 with 3 guards and 2nd unit would be Lopez and same 10 man unit. I can possibly use Oquinn as a back up mobile 4.
I will try again.Just KP/Lopez, Calderon/Afflalo. You can upgrade either the starting frontcourt or the backcourt. No benching, switching positions, no one on the bench promoted, you will be looking outside the roster for help. Which one would you prioritize in the offseason? Just one choice.
Thats a dumb question? I dont care what we have now--it needs significant change. Whoever I had to sit Lopez or KP or get rid of Carmelo /all of our crap guards--to me theyre ALL gone. I would work until the chemistry is right. Im happy with Lopez and KP but they dont necessarily have to start together.
I think Melo, KP, Lopez is pretty set. Not sure at all about O'Quinn. Also, I don't think he has the speed to cover 4's. The Knicks might be smart to try and move O'Quinn for something around the draft. I know he has hit two threes this year but I don't think that makes him a lot more valuable with all of his other deficiencies. The back court is a different story. It needs to be addressed.
