I disagree. I think Fisher was masterful recognizing that Lance Thomas was bringing his A game. Whether it was matchups or whatever. It's like a baseball manager giving a player a day off to refocus after a long slump. I was very impressed with how Fisher handled last night. It's probably something they had prepared for and already had planned through Phil. I'm very comfortable with how hey are developing KP so far. They are not forcing him to do too much in his first couple of NBA games or his first year. They are not demanding that he positions himself in the post knowing that his body is not ready for that yet. They a realize they have to protect him from major injuries. Exactly what I was hoping for before the season began. I know some fans want to him to be Tim Duncan out of the gate but that's not how it works with a 20yr old. Duncan was older and more matured physically and mentally in his first 2yrs

Basically Fish was rotating him in for offense in the end and Lance for defense. It happened to work out they fouled Lance and going to the line kept KP out.
Its kool, KP getting plenty of playing time!

Toronto also went very small and LT was matched up on Derozan.

Exactly
