i'm a raptors fan and i am missing something if we get wes too lol. but theoretically, he would replace lou williams (6th man of the year) and be the scoring guard off the bench. carroll would slot to the starting SF spot. still need a PF and backup C tho. we could start patterson at the 4 but still leaves front court thin.

I loved him before the injury but offering $11mil per year for a player coming off an injury that seemingly no player recovers properly from, is madness.

:)

don't know about amir. his body really wore down the past year. plays with alot of heart but the body is going. i think he would be our plan C to bring back at PF. but if we sign wes + carroll, then we would have to renounce his rights (along with lou's).

welcome to the great white north...where it's impossible to sign any US player.

The Knicks, I'm told, were ready to offer DeMarre Carroll same/similar deal that Toronto did, but Carroll jumped at Raptors' outlook.

Second time the Raptors did us a favor. The first solid they did us was the Landry Fields signing.

Would Mathews take less than he could get elswhere? Would he be willing to come off the bench, after finally becoming a starter?
EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?
