I've always liked Grant over Mudiay and I think he will be a much better player than him in the NBA. Stick him in China and he would have everyone going crazy.

Jerian Grant is LEGIT. I like him better than Mudiay. He's a totally underrated guard IMO. The kid can run a team and he can defend. Great size and length. Good athlete too. Just a real smart PG.

you liked him better than mudiay? I though you were into mudiay for a while before you got a man crush on trill.

Wow, just woke up from a nap and this is good news. I actually was okay taking Grant even if the Knicks got Russell that's how much I liked him. His age is the only concern. I think his 3pt shooting will get better.

You like ANYONE that is a Knick, including AB, I am sorry but you are just too biased and optimistic, though I like the moves starting our year off VERY MUCH THUS FOR!
LETS GO PHIL!

Honestly though, there are still so many different directions that the Knick's could go in terms of filling roster spots, if they will absorb expirings like David Lee or Gereld Wallace for picks....

And he has what Phil wanted which is not being a teenager. He played 4 years at ND.

For those that don't know, this is was actually a pretty damn good pick. Grant can run an offense and, imo, was the second best PG in this draft (behind Russell of course).

He didn't show much offense on the couple of games that I watched but he did demonstrate a nice shot, quick on his feet, good defense and always directing the traffic. Really good pick....this suddenly got me excited.

Tim Hardaway could shoot, he is just a horrible DEFENDER and we should not have more than 1 player that has the green light, that is CA
And CA's isn't the best defender and is just horrible on defense at the SF, while better at the PF

Even Klay THompson has the green light but doesn't shoot it like Curry majority of the times, though he was CRUCIAL and made the correct plays in as IGGY/Draymond Green/Barnes was left open because of the presence of Curry/Klay

I think we all would much rather have Rudy Gobert who had the highest upside of all the players left at the time though his strengths were comparable to McGee, with unreal length/athleticism/and mobility
But has great work ethic as well, without the clusminess

Don't know why you're on my case. What's wrong with these moves? If there's nothing really wrong why are you busting my balls?

I don't like every Knicks player. If I like a player I talk about them. If I don't you don't hear me talk a lot about them. I had concerns about Kris. I wanted WCS, but I always recognized that Kris has talent. It's just worrying that he actually reaches his full potential. No problem with Kris as an actual prospect cuz he has tons of upside. Who knows how good he can be?

NO, I just like breaking your balls, because i find it hard for a Knick fan to be as positive, optimistic, and excited for EVERY MOVE we make and even previous regimes to defend
I mean I went through the whole Isiah years and stayed positve as ALL MY FRIENDS TORTURED ME EVERYDAY after being a Knick fan from the Starks days to SpreeeWELL LJ but the past 5years really took a toll on me

While I do not think it is generic at the same time, it is just like seeing a unicorn every day when we are all in hell, "tommorrow will be a better day, i surely could see it, it cannot be worse than yesterday, for over a decade"

Great point. That would be a big backcourt with Shved, Grant and Thanasis.

Still have Galloway, Ledo, and Jose in the backcourt. Competition for minutes could be interesting.

I really don't think they are gonna bring back Shved to be honest. Nor Ledo.

Lol. Thanasis is not a shooting guard.

Shved played as well as anyone down the stretch. I think he won another year in NY (deadline to pick up or decline his option has to be coming up soon, huh?).

Ledo probably at least a summer league/training camp player. Not sure if he can win out, but absolutely no risk before November.

Good point. I had forgotten about The Greek Freak 2.0. Let's hope he's drilling 3 after 3 this summer. He can be a 3 and D monster with that athletic ability.

Super super psyched about the Grant trade! Someone took THjr! Haha! Suckers!
