Remember, the deal goes down AFTER the picks are made. If it were to happen, you might see where Denver might have it contingent on a certain player.

Maybe it happens that if Lakes go russell, Phill Kristaps then maybe the deal is 6&7 for oka4. Or Russell. Or maybe Kristaps. There are lots of deals contingent on a player drafted first.

The Knicks are not that lucky. 4 for 6&7? That would be a hell of a draft for the knicks
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

ugh ... you have to be freakin kidding me?

If Denver really covets a guy and believes he is a can't miss prospect, they would do it instead of drafting two guys they are unsure about. The draft is about potential and perceived value. Let's say they really like Zinger and rank him as having the potential to be the next Dirk. There alternative might be to draft Winslow and WCS at 6/7 and they view these guys as having the potential of say Corey Maggette and Tyson Chandler. If it went down like this, who would you rather have?

If Russell is available at #4, I keep the pick. Otherwise I trade it and THJr for #6 and #7. (Assuming OK4 and Towns are gone)

I think Russell or OK4 being available would be the only reason someone would consider that deal. I think picks 4 - 7 are pretty interchangeable. If we were targeting Winslow, he might still be there at 7. Al. I know is that some one offers 6 and 7 for 4 in this draft, I do not care who is available at 4, I am taking that deal.

You know I gonna spin wit it

Russell or ok4 is not better than picks 6&7

Winslow and Kaminsky
Stein and Kaminsky

U can pick numerous pairs of players at 6&7 .....they will always be better than whoever is at 4. Towns might be the only exception.

With all the nonsense going on with the Kings right now with Cousins I don't see this happening. I think they go WCS at #6 because that is who cousins reportedly wants and they are going to need to smoove things over with him sooner than later.

The fact that cousins is being shopped around is a sign their relationship is growing old fast. I think the kings are now forced to trade him. Otherwise he will become the ultimate locker room cancer.

i could really see us trading for cousins.. you know phil is going to think that he can through to cousins and make him see the zen. the same way he did with some other players. cousins is a great talent, but there have been way to many character flaws with him.

would anyone be happy with:
-cousins, pick6
for
-calderon, thjr, pick4

thats not what i was saying, i dont care about the word rape. im saying, i don't think we'd be raping the kings in a trade if they are shopping cousins as hard as they are. i think cousins is a polarizing player in gm circles and many probably don't want the headache of dealing with him. the kings wont get a kings ransom for him.

but here all they are really getting is THJ and you are also asking them to take on Jose's salary.

if they want to trade him they are going to want some really solid pieces in return.

We're not getting Cousins with #4 maybe if we had 1 or 2 but no way at 4. Not unless we traded 4 down for some crazy package and sent it back up and the likelihood of that is zilch.

4 for 6 and 7 would be great. Then pick up Hezonja and Kaminsky. Sign Ajinca. Trade THJr for a mid to late 1st round pick and select Jerian Grant.

PG - Grant
SG - Hezonja
SF - Melo
PF - Kaminsky
C - Ajinca

Man...that would be cool.
