with that line up I would go even harder for Dermar Carrol and play smaller.

Forwards: Melo/Carrol
Center: Jordan
3 excellent defensive players around Melo/Russell's offense. Shved would be nice there also. Its one version of a blueprint for sure.

On paper, we've expected more from other Knick rosters, and been wrong.

But if the basketball gods smiled and Phil added those three pieces - Jordan, Russel & Carrol- Melo is healthy and our D Leaguers stay and provide effort & the whole thing gels, then I like us for an 8 seed and a possible upset in the first round.
