ok4 feasts on undersized players... he has looked average against other 7fters or good team defenses.. he's not shaq where he can just back down against anyone...

ok4 has a better post game and that's it.. towns is better than him in all other facets of the game... the only reason ok4 is rated higher is because towns doesn't get as many minutes..

They have nearly the same TREB% and just like it may hurt his stats to play so few minutes being surrounded by so many bigs help his game too. People act like Ok4 doesn't get any blks or asts. Their both young and need to work on parts of their game.

i just see towns translating better to the nba... having a nice post game is nice but ok4 is not gonna be doing half of the things he's doing at the pro level and he doesn't have a mid range game to speak of.. yet...

what tips the scales for me towards towns is that he gets after it on defense.. he's quicker and more responsive... ok4 kind of floats and is not as quick on the pick n roll..

if we are going to contend the next big man whether thru the draft or FA has to defend... it is a requirement and towns from my pov is just way more developed on that side...

Towns can shoot with range and do it smoothly.

That is what is needed today.

too bad on Melo?

I was agreeing with Briggs Too bad we can't trade Melo and draft Towns & OK4 and be set for years to come.

Melo is only getting older and breaking down every year. And he's only in year 1 of his 5yr contract.

You guys needs to stop with this whole breaking down thing. Guys get injured every day. Just because he isn't immune to injury doesn't mean he's breaking down.

probably not going to see 20 & 10 with the way Kentucky plays but Towns was great tonight in every way

12 and 10 on Kentucky is at least 20 and 12 anywhere else.

The main thing is-- if we have the worst record in the nBA we have an 86% chance to pick top 3. Having guys like Towns Portis and Russell stepping up adds to the value of our position. I think since we dont have a pick next year its imperative to win the most ping pong balls.

it looks like a deepish draft... but only if everyone comes out which these days isn't a guarantee anymore(ie. marcus smart)...

This is encouraging since for the first time the knicks might value their high lottery pick and not trade him for Josh Smith

I wonder if he was aware of the Allan Houston and Amare Stoudemire contracts!

Kentucky on ESPN 9pm

Pacers detroying the Knicks on the boards.
We've sucked at rebounding for the past 15yrs.
Time to focus on adding OK4/Towns not another combo guard

Towns is a nice player, but he needs a long PF next to him to be effective. I worry about the minutes he plays in Kentucky, because you truly can't tell how good he truly is. I wonder if this kid can really be a good defender minus Stein...

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Towns, OK4, Russell or Mudiay

Knicks just need a top 4 pick. Anyone of those guys will do

exactly which is why the recent Winning streak got me nervous. Hate losing but if we are rewarded with top 4 pick its worth it

lets lose pretty at least.

Melo should not be playing ... don't really get it. Triangle training.

i think for any other team it's a top 4 but i think mudiay is a very bad fit for us... pgs who don't shoot are not going to do well in the triangle plus you have melo to share the ball... by all accounts he is a ball dominant guard who likes to shoot...

i think it's a very solid top 3 compared to other drafts... i give towns the slight edge over russell and ok4 because of his defense and showing enough offensive prowess to be decent there... stanley johnson i'll put as #4...
