Thats an excellent shot coming off a screen and hand off by Jr. Some of his other ones just went in.

Giving Aldrich Stat's minutes would pay dividends later in the season. Can't expect Cole to get an offensive rhythm without the minutes. He'd finish those rolls to the basket with more reps. No matter what though he is already 10 times smarter on the court than Stat will ever be and he could help the Triangle system flowing.

I cant see the game but question--does it look like both Dalembart and Cole 1-2 can hold down that C position --I get the sense for the best chemistry using those two might be the best solution as they both can protect the rim rebound + both can score a bit. We have scorers but I think these two--in most situations(and not lookingt at salary or past star power) thyat these two are the right choices for the 5 spot minutes.

Early & Timmy will be our two microwave players on offense. Early just looks like a guy who if he's hot, can pour in 15 points in a quarter without breaking a sweat. Doesn't mean he'll be a great player, I have no clue, but he can pop em and drop em for sure.

yes, it does appear they can early on. they both represent centers Phil likes.

We adjusted 2nd half defensively

May have caught a tired Cs team

There were positives to take away from the game

Cole is without a doubt the best big-man facilitator (and maybe Wear could be if he is ever on the regular roster), so the answer is basically yes IMO. Stat is a dumb player and I'm praying he gets buried on the bench ASAP. Even Acey is already showing contributions that eclipse Stat as a front-line contributor. Stat at C is a recipe for stagnation on O and more badness on D.

We need to be patient with our kids as well as some of our vets. They all have to get past the thinking too much stage. You can see a little improvement as they play. There's a LOOOOOOOOOONG way to go.

Thats kind of what I thought. The problem is who the heck is playing 4--we have Smith Bargs and Amare and even Acy--thats too much. My hope Is Early finds the back up 3

Acy has totally earned minutes so far at the 4, Smith may get some, but have to see him play first. I really dont see Amare or Bargs really getting burn if Fisher wants defense out there.

Enough good things in only second game to be satisfied. Sloppy as hell mostly, but effort improved and glimmers from multiple players was intriguing.

Will be watching Cole, Acey and Early closely for continued signs they can take minutes away from others. Holding out hope Larkin gets going, because he really sucked tonight.

I think Shump will be key for this team now. He showed some good signs.

Praying Timmy keeps improving and knocks JR to third string. I despise JR and think he will always be an erratic garbage player for the most part who does nothing to help evolve this team's ability to execute on both ends with consistency. Tonight JR was typical 1-on-1. Even if he hit some shots, I don't like him and think he is redundant if Tim can justify being ahead of him in the rotation.

That's the big story here I think. Will Fish bury Bargs and Stat and will Phil back him on this?

I hope so.
