The Nets should drag this out and make Kidd sweat.

Exactly. JVG, Larry Brown, Pat Riley... We've seen this before. I really don't blame Kidd for wanting to leave a sinking ship. I do have a problem with Bucks management for doing this behind the current GMs back. I think deserved a heads up before the story broke.

utterly classless move by Kidd. hoping Bucks nets don't agree on draft pick, and both teams move on.

Sorry, no sympathy for him. No confusion how old the roster was prior to him demanding to get the Nets job to start. guess can't be suprised given the punk moves he's made in past

Back in may Holfresh posted an article about billy king and dwiiams having a a falling out and Williams wanting out of Brooklyn. Also, interesting that Kidd wanted to move Bropez and teletovic to the bucks.

Read and can well imagine how the Lawrence Frank thing went down last season. Frank was the guy he wanted.

Its a tough business. I'd like to see the Italian Coach Messina get the job. Dude is suppose to be great. He coached the Russians Moscow team.

Im rooting for a better rivalry between Knicks a Nets!!!

if true, i cant imagine kidd has any respect in coaching circles. he got one of his fellow coaches fired, demoted an ex coach. you dont see many coaches back stabbing others, at least so openly.

GO TEAM VENTURE!!!!!

I agree. I heard Rick Carlisle is head of the coaches association and frowns on anything like this. Kidd may land on his feet, especially if he ends up in management, but this move could hurt him down the road.
Also, Drew was Woodsons lead assistant and campaigned and got the hawks job and had Woodson fired.

Kharma, lol. I remember that. Woodson wouldn't even shake his hand after games. Can't blame him. Eventually Kidd is going to have to deliver or he will find himself on the outs himself.

Nets were paying Kidd 1.5 mill a season. Kerr just got close to 6 mill and Fisher too.

'The Brooklyn Nets will post a loss of $144 million for the season.'

Ouch!! This quote from Stern after Prokhorov bought the team is pretty funny now.

"“We anticipate that his passion for the game and business acumen will be of considerable value not only to the Nets franchise but to the entire NBA,” league Commissioner David Stern said in an e-mailed statement yesterday."

Kidd might have some Karma follow him, but he'll get 5 mil a year for it!!!!!

Carlisle and the coaching community might frown upon Kidd but dude is getting a serious raise in pay!!

Kidd will likely buy a piece of the Bucks and in time run the thing.

Won't be long until Spree becomes an assistant coach.

Kidd is such a snake- makes me wonder if he deliberately stunk it up in the playoffs because he'd already sorted out a coaching job with the Nets. At the time I thought it was ridiculous when people suggested it, now I'm not so sure...

It's obvious now that Kidd and King weren't going to be able to work together after all the crap that happened last season. This probably means that Pierce is gone too, since he shares the same agent as Kidd.

i'd like to see Messina get the gig in Brooklyn. Make for more interesting fodder.
Hollins deserves another shot.

Nets looking stupid.

Actually ownership pushed Kidd on to Billy King. Kings gains powers thru this.

Sure he did. I heard he got his college coach fired. He probably was drinking.
