If Jordan did not get 30-35 mil might he have left? If the second three peat team was never put together would he have left?

Kareem won with 2 teams, finished his career in LA. Shaq also won with 2 teams. Being one of 4-5 teams to win with the 2nd best player ever in this league, is yes, a boring narrative for me.

Lebron is not different than some other stars, but maybe has bigger balls to not care what some think. The dude has evolved and matured. So has Melo.

All we got is a bad "Decision" program that made millions for a charity and colluded with players nearly openly. WIlt won just two rings and lost lots of times to the Celtics and the knicks twice in the finals. He played on three teams, the Philadelpha Warriors, when they moved he wanted out, so he got traded to Expanasion 76ers, won a title with them in what is considered one of the greatest teams ever (1968), then demands trade to Lakers. Lost again to Celtics in 69, then to knicks in 70, they don't make finals in 71, then win it all in 72 and lose again in 73. Guess what, wilt was not Russell, was not on that kind of team.

Maybe we don't give jordans coach enough credit. Jordan went to the finals and won 6 out of 6 times, but so did pippen. So did Phil Jax!

Lebron deserves more respect for what he has done, and too much attention on not being Jordan.

This isn't about morality, its about having a good story to tell. I might disagree with his career choice if he starts jumping from team to team again, but I respect him as a player. His unselfishness on the court in spite of his skill set is unrivaled. Don't believe being one of many teams to win with him is a great story, not after this long a drought.

I get it, I want a long running Dynasty and upswing years of watching a team come together. It could be whats happening in OKC. Its what makes the SAS story so great. my preference is at team like the old knicks built thru the draft, then use assets (Bellamy and Kovives) for debusscure, or Cazzie for a near career ending Jerry Lucas, or trade for Monroe as we did.

The core was Willis in 1964 and Clyde three years later. Bradley was a sort of bust who in a smaller role fit perfectly (he was player of the year in college and was a BIG deal!)and Barnett was a seasoned vet with is best years behind him.

Do I want a rebuild with picks, players and Trades? OF course. If lebron played hear 4 years, then finished in Clevland I'd be ok with that. If Shaq could play for 5 teams, Lebron 4 is not terrible.
