Kay: uh ... John Mara, Prokorov (I liked that one)

Yea the awkward pause after Prokorov was priceless.

Anyone complaining about the Melo trade, looks like Prokorov is really the reason IMHO. Dolan really didn't want him over there, in addition to wanting him here… hence his opinion that the price was right.

Dude was honest..also said we would have had to pay Gallo, Chandler and they would be here now...He said that would be our team...Saying but not saying that wouldn't be a good team...

Didn't look convincing when asked if Isiah was involved in basketball decision, it's like he had a rehearsed line for that pat answer he gave.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

or he was being careful with the way he phased it because he knows Isiah is a touchy topic...

They way he chugged the water after the suggestion of him coming on for an hour with his band made it look like he wish it was a bottle of his favorite alcoholic drink and then he licks his lips.

Yea that's why we traded 2 picks for Bargnani who also makes $15mil next year. Lin makes $8m in Houston next year. We are stuck with Felton

Totally different things. Bargs fit into a salary slot because he was acquired in a trade. Lin's deal reportedly would have cost the Knicks as much as 65 mil next year.

So you think that Bargs trade was a better move than resigning Lin?

Where did you get that from what I wrote. Lin signed a poison pill deal. Bargs deal fit into the space occupied by Novak, Camby etc that were traded for him. Not sure where you are going with this. Two entirely different situations.

Just asking, if you had to pick one move:

1. sign Lin at asking price
2. trade for bargs (not sign Lin)

which one would you pick? Which one was/woulda been the worst of the two?

so here is what phil is thinking ....

They are mutually exclusive moves and one has nothing to do with the other. I wanted Lin back and I liked the Bargs deal.

I think that made him seem genuine and honest...

I think I would like to drink a lot if owned this team.
