Play Bargs at center and do not play KMart or CHandler while Hibbert is on the floor. Pacers hide Hibbert on those two since they can't hit a shot. Hibbert then tends to roam when defending them. So play Bargs at center and Melo PNR with whoever Hibbert is guarding EVERY time. This and off ball movement will make Hibbert useless as a defender. This also has the added benefit of having Bargs play Hibbert on D.

This might seem like a lot of work but having Hibbert guard the rim is a game changer.

I don't understand why Melo tries to dunk on teams with a bonifide center unless the center is defending from the foul line.

Major momentum changer just like the playoff game.

Funny, if not you'll say "attack the rim!!!"

Get Hibbert in foul trouble?

Dunk on him and change the game in our favor and quiet the building.

If Not felton, then who? ToePriggy? Beno? Or the magical Murry to emerge form fantasy?

Naw, its the coach!!!!!!!

They can put West on Bargs. Or is there a rule the big guys play each other? Advocatoing a jump shot mentality won't get you to the line, and if you go cold game over.

Funny, many would blast MDA for taking jump shots.

Its good fans don't hire and fire coach.

I think we should iso the media and see if they can pull Hibbert out, then pass into the Mecca who can hit the shot!

smith is also a cancer. without sheed and thomas and kidd to keep order woodson is simply overwhelmed.

with no vets around the team had to implode... which it pretty much has.

implosion means ending up at around 37 wins, give or take a few games.

I doubt other players care much about a teammate's free agency plans. LeBron and Bosh are testing the market and I don't see their teammates sulking. It's a business. Smith being a cancer is undeniable. It hurts even more because we had an option in THJ and we still let Smith run wild. But I think if anything set the tone this season, it was the firing of our GM just before the start of the season. Our owner decided to start the season tumultuously and, surprise, it's carried over to the season.

they're not sulking because they have been to the finals three years in a row and have won the last two! what the hell has melo done since he came here? dude is a loser so of course players are going to be affected: the guy wants to leave a situation after having had a hand in creating it, and with absolutely nothing to show for it?!?

smith meanwhile is giving off that distinctive marbury vibe. can't be much more toxic than that. he should be suspended from the team for conduct detrimental if he isn't going to sack up.

i agree that dolan's infernal interference was a big part of things. he can't help but be destructive. it's his calling card and it is amazing how he does this year after year after year.

but a big problem is that woodson plays favorites-- always has, and it hurts the cause. hardaway has some really nice upside. i feel bad for the kid.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Melo is Woodson's bread and butter. Give him the JR treatment stop you hating ways.

Knicks got beat by a better team on their home court..This had nothing to do with adjustments...Melo is the only guy for the Knicks who showed up, again..Felton played hard...If Stevenson and George are hitting long jumpers, I want to know what adjustments Woodson could make to get the Knicks back in the game...Poster use these moments to vent their inner frustrations with no real concrete analysis from the game..This was done in the second quarter..I would love to hear what adjustments needed to made...

Yet another silly thread...Same as last playoffs..Knicks have the best player on the court, the Pacers have the next best 7...Own up to it and stop making excuses...Like another coach will make Chandler and Shump play better...

I like what your saying and agree with it. There was nothing that these currently coached Knicks team can do against the Pacers. They don't have the fundamentals for good defense and they lack leadership on offense.

+1. Not much more to say. Pretty amazing that the Knicks were able to do as well as they did last spring against these guys with a hobbled Melo, and Tyson, Kidd and Jr going home after the Celtic series.

If anything it shows that the Heat players care more. You think Jr Smith even thinks about Melo's free agency status when he goes clubbing after tonight's game?

he had 1 assist. when he has 4+ assists the knicks tend to win.

anything less they almost always lose.

bottom line beyond a hot first 8 minutes he didn't show up. after that he was invisible, with zero floor impact for the final 40 minutes.

Your focus is Melo and only Melo as usual...Look at the big picture just once...We had a lot of guys talking after we lost to the Pacers in the playoffs..Shump had a lot to say and so did Chandler..Ask yourself this question, who went home and got better for this meeting??..Answer is Stevenson, George and Melo...These are the better players this year...Shump and Chandler are all talk...But u don't see that...Your obsession is blinding your analysis if u do analyze the game ...

Big picture might not interest you ..So I will say this about the assist stat...Assist is also a function of people hitting shots when given the opportunity..

The adjustments were simple bring Hibbert outside by playing Amare and Bargs at the same time. You can go ISO and hit foul line shots or pick and roll and put Hibbert at the DISADVANTAGE on the perimiter.

Then the ball can swing and get Melo in the post where there isn't strong resistence.

Make them adjust to us for a change.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

MIKE WOODROW WILSON SHOULD RESIGN FOR A LACK OF A PLAN AND STRATEGY FOR THE PLAYERS HE HAS ON HIS ROSTER
