he has fundamentally created a classic situation of being a mediocre scorer on a bad team. that you and others are this easily fooled by his dog and pony show simply means that this is the knicks team you deserve. dolan. isiah thomas. marbury. carmelo. basically variations on the same theme.

In December his shooting #'s are 48% fg, 45% 3fg% with a 59 TS% while increasing his assists to 3.2( I bet his ast opp are above 8), and lowering his TOs, while grabbing 7 rebs a game. Clearly Melo is the problem right now. So what if he increased his blks and steals as the season has went on.

Interesting take on the situation. Thanks for clarifying. Very helpful. He is still the only person coming to play. Also, if I'm not mistaken weren't you one of the people saying it was his fault Shump was struggling? Where was the production tonight? Def Melo's fault bc he put on weight during the lockout like 75% or more of the league, right?

Actually, PER really is invalidated. It doesn't have nearly the ability to predict team performance that win shares and other advanced stats have.
