The same Smith that is represented by the same agent that Woody fired his own agent to join.

Not sure why Felton is untouchable, but I totally understand JR's situation.

For real, Sterling is a known racist in a league full of the race he hates.

thanks for being generous and not stingy!

I second this. TKF, you deserve props, BRIGGS as well for stepping up.
No mitches in this thread!!

TKF has gotten a lot of grief in the past but he has been pretty accurate about this team so far

What happened last year?? He was the same old hater he is now. I will remember this day down the road. Sure the knicks have problems and the playing stinks but when management do what they did with Chriss Smith is showed me that they was more about money. The Knicks will come back and this season they will come back. It's very easy to predict something when it's dome and gloom and the team is playing bad. I give TKF nothing. F*#k the props.

I'm curious, what did happen last year? All I saw was a second round collapse.

Maybe Shumpert shouldnt have said the team failed, perhaps he wouldnt be on his way out for telling the truth.

I enjoyed 1996, 1997 and 1998- we didn't get out of the second round in those, so i guess those were terrible years of failure too.

If you only saw the playoff losses, then you missed all the regular season wins. Why do you even watch the regular season?

I watch alot of basketball, not just the Knicks. The thing is I would like for my team to not be someones bitch in the playoffs.

The regular season doesnt mean squat to me as a fan.

Then why do you watch it? Why do you post about it?

Fair weather fans- oh I will only support the team if we are guaranteed to win a championship! Oh but in hard times I'll just give up! Oh I won't support any player through struggles!

the team is an extension of dolan, so to the degree that you support the team is the same degree that you support the ultimate status quo... which is dolan.

please tell me you are smart enough to avoid separating the two.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Actually a fair weather fan only watches some of the time, the other times they are rooting for losses and they support other teams instead.

I watch every game, and never root for failure.....even if I did, I dont control the outcome in any way or fashion.

I know you're not really a fair weather fan- whether you admit it or not you do have interest in the regular season, or you wouldn't watch the games, and for all your criticism I suspect you watch in the hope that they win- I just don't get why posters start pretending that they only care about the playoffs and that the regular season is irrelevant!

My interest in the regular season is purely entertainment value....last year killed all thinking that regular season play translates to playoffs.....for this team.

I felt they were worse on many levels, and they are.

But either way i dont control the outcome of the games, and I do think that ANY fan of the team would rather see their team win every game they play.

I want them to, but dont believe they will.....thus low expectations.

This thread is turrible. There's a difference between admitting the Knicks suck and making tkf into this false prophet. First of all, why single out tkf of all people, there are plenty of people with pessimistic attitudes about this team on the forum that make far more reasonable claims and actually use logic in their arguments... This thread has managed to convince him that he was right all along and he sees the truth that all the dumb homers didn't see. It's threads like these that fuel this dude to repeat his same garbage over and over, so congratulations!- your reward: many more topics ruined by TKF's incessant babbling of nugget worship, paul george adoration, and danillo gallinari secret love notes, bravo!

I'm not taking anything personally, that seems to be your go to line when you don't know what to say. You haven't insulted me, why would I be hurt? I think you are confused. You also might want to look up the definition of jaded, as it most definitely applies more to everything you post than what I say...

jad·ed
ˈjādid/
adjective
adjective: jaded
1.
tired, bored, or lacking enthusiasm, typically after having had too much of something.
"meals to tempt the most jaded appetites"
synonyms: surfeited, sated, satiated, glutted; More
antonyms: fresh

This word is pretty much the epitome of your fandom.

Exactly.

Tyson saved us a lot of time if nothing else.

TKF is no prophet. It's real simple:

1. Woody doing a terrible job this year. Dolan snipped Woody's nuts and now his words are empty. ZERO accountability.
2. Tyson breaks leg
3. Felton is playing like a bum all the way around. Not near his career FG% and is a matador on D
4. JR is an absolute knucklehead and is allowed too much rope by Woody. Not shooting a good FG% and playing selfish.

Now obviously if we get better leadership from Woody, FElton starts playing at least respectable PG, JR starts driving to the basket and playing smarter then suddenly you have a much different deal. Still lots of other smaller issues, but they don't dictate the situation as much as 2 of your top players from last year playing horribly is hurting right now. Eventually you get Tyson back and maybe add Tyler.

First of all, why single out tkf of all people, there are plenty of people with pessimistic attitudes about this team on the forum that make far more reasonable claims and actually use logic in their arguments... This thread has managed to convince him that he was right all along and he sees the truth that all the dumb homers didn't see. It's threads like these that fuel this dude to repeat his same garbage over and over, so congratulations!- your reward: many more topics ruined by TKF's incessant babbling of nugget worship, paul george adoration, and danillo gallinari secret love notes, bravo!

this sounds personal..

Everyone gather round, the prophet spoke to me! He wants to share his wisdom with us all! Wow I feel blessed.

if they gather around it is just to see how jaded you sound and how foolish you are looking.. again, you are taking it so personal, i can see the hurt, and it is not a good look for you.. lol

This word is pretty much the epitome of your fandom.

so now you are going to tell me how to root for my team? again, sounds personal..

why are you not talking basketball, instead you are obsessing over me, both you and papabear.. I find that very odd...

toughen up..

this isn't a good look... you sound hurt and this sounds personal....

root for the knicks however you see fit.. don't tell me how to do so..

Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF

Melo disagrees with you.....

"I am disappointed too in all of our effort. We are just not getting it done. It ain't nothing that Coach [Mike] Woodson is doing [or not doing]. It ain't got nothing to do with X's and O's out there on the basketball court. We are not getting it done from an effort standpoint. It's like we are not even trying right now."

Melo knows this team is garbage.
