Glad you're enjoying gloating- how are your nuggets doing? At this point how are you not a troll? Seriously?

nuggets are doing fine rebuilding I guess, looking at guys they are going to draft in the lottery with the knicks pick I can only assume....

you bring up the nuggets and call me a troll.. that is just pitiful.. LOL

Nuggets arent rebuilding. They have massive flexibility and didnt miss a step after losing Melo right? Oh wait.. time to backtrack on an entire offseason's musings about how the Nuggets are better off. When they win a title in 2038 will be able to point to the Melo trade as the watershed moment.

nothing new to see here folks... move along.

On the topic:
Briggs... I see two quality players in Tyson and Melo. The rest are below average NBA starters if they are starters at all.

We have one top ten player in Melo. One top 30 player in Chandler and probably nobody else cracks the top 100. We lack talent. Point blank

no fish they didn't. they won more games than us and there is a good possibility they will be there collecting the knicks lottery pick this year fish..

maybe you should stay on topic.. your somewhat emotional potshots at me, don't seem to be working for you..

Yeah fish, don't you realize the key to life is collecting lottery picks? As the Nuggets will probably end up with a lottery pick of their own without help from the Knicks.

But wait, maybe it's all about first round exits! Or getting your COTY fired! You are truly just overemotinally blinded to see the beauty of well-run franchise, fish.

But that's okay, hopefully we'll be subjected to the neverending musings about Indiana now...
Soon to be followed by "I didn't mention Indiana, you did..."

tkf, it's okay to be wrong occassionally. We humans live with it and move on.

question.. why is it so important to you guys what denver does?

Are you truly happy with the situation the knicks are in?

you talk about being wrong.. what is there to be right or wrong about? the knicks are not in a good situation and you guys know it..

You are very focused on denver, and you thumb your nose at teams with draft picks and flexibility..

That has been a formula for success for a lot of teams..

what are we doing? has anyone ever won this way?

You guys bring up denver.. not me.. I understand what they are doing...they are in great shape...

We are not.. that is the problem...

so again, are you happy with the knicks?

2010 - Made the playoffs after being the absolute laughingstock of sports.
2011 - Got a playoff win
2012 - Second round of the playoffs.

You see how that works? I've been a fan since 1969-70.

Other teams starphucque and win, but you don't even bother to thumb your nose at that. Miami, Boston, LA all say hello.
Your singular melo hate blinds you to anything but negativity, which is why you surreptiously disappear every time we go on a protracted winning streak.
You see great shapes in first round exits for other teams.

"They" are always in great shape and "We" are not, no matter what the outcome.

"They" win 50-some games and are in great shape.
"We" win 50-some games and are a fool's gold franchise.

"They" compete in a tough Conference and are in great shape.
"We" get the second seed in our conference and are labeled meaningless.

"We" fire coaches and are a douchebag franchise.
"They" fire coaches and are building for the future.

Jrod, I think you look at other teams situations and think we are doing the same..

who starphuched and won without having that stud draft pick on their team already?

Miami had wade
Boston already had pierce and rondo

those teams didn't have to fleece their talent pool to put together a winner.. you do understand that right..

knicks were not in the same situation.

Your singular melo hate blinds you to anything but negativity, which is why you surreptiously disappear every time we go on a protracted winning streak.

LOL, that is not true, but I know it made you feel better to type that.. so have at it..

2010 - Made the playoffs after being the absolute laughingstock of sports.

2013- potential lottery team, with no lottery pick, and back to laughingstocks of sports...

Are you happy with this Jrod? are you?

6 games in and now we're a lottery team and back to the laughingstock of sports. The past 3 seasons don't exist. You really don't see things clearly, do you?

You just don't get this whole fan thing, do you? Loyalty, maybe?

Yes I'm happy. I'm a Knick fan and there's NBA basketball that my team is partaking in it. I want to bury every team by 30 points. I want a chip. But despite the outcome, I'm still a Knick fan. I did not pay to become one. The Knicks, believe it or not, owe me nothing. Jim Dolan is the entitled owner of billions dollars, good for him. He's an unreasonable turd from what I can see. So are lots of people. I'm still a Knicks fan.

Here, you like analogies and repetition: you get married and have a kid, he's your kid, and he just doesn't perform up to snuff. Do you blame management? Do you constantly berate him because he's not Johnny down the street? Do you contantly point out everything he's done wrong and belittle any of his achievements because you admire Johnny down the street's approach to life so much more? Do you contantly remind him that he's not Johnny down the street and how much happier you would be if he were?

You pick a team, they don't pick you, tkf. If you hate this team and it's management as much as you seem to, why aren't you a fan of one of the other well-run organizations that you point out repeatedly, ad nauseum? I'm sure the Nuggets or the Pacers or the Warriors or the Rockets are just dying for knowledgeable, verbose fans like you.

Constant unflagging criticism is fine, but at the end of it all, what even makes you care about the Knicks?

Are you happy with your outlook? Are you?

what should the past 3 years mean jrod? we traded away the farm to basically get where we were headed anyway... i ONLY USE denver because they took our players and won more games than we did, except they have a solid plan in place with many picks to execute a number of scenarios.. we don't... so the last 3 years mean nothing because we haven't accomplished squat...

did we make the carmelo trade to accomplish this? really?

Here, you like analogies and repetition: you get married and have a kid, he's your kid, and he just doesn't perform up to snuff. Do you blame management? Do you contantly remind him that he's not Johnny down the street and how much happier you would be if he were?

not a good analogy, but i will play along.. if my son isn't performing up to snuff, i will stay on him and remind him of that.. it is how i am, I won't accept anything else.. especially not from my kid.. and I feel the same way about the teams I root for.. you are right, we choose who to root for, therefore my standards are high, otherwise why waste the time and effort?

I don't belittle achievements, but I don't pump them up to be more than they are... what have the knicks achieved? considering the moves we made..

Are you happy with your outlook? Are you?

very happy.. at the end of the day, I am a NBA fan... I enjoy watching good basketball, and if the knicks can't give it to me, or won't.. then I will watch somewhere else.. I hope one day the knicks turn it around and do things the right way, but I am not going to fool myself into thinking we have gold when we don't.. simple and plain.. when the knicks turn things around, which I hope they do, I will go back to having a positive outlook.. until then... I will voice my displeasure..

You really don't see things clearly, do you?

I honestly think you should look in the mirror and ask yourself that...

Papabear Says

I know what TKF problem is, he dosen't know what a fan is or the meaning of a fan. A fan is with his team through the good and the bad times he dosen't run out on them and when they have a season to TKF liking they come back?? No TKF you are not a Knicks fan. You may be a fan of the NBA and if that the case go find another team to pick on because all you do is run the same old stats and say the same old things. When we could be in a discussion about another player on the team you always find a way to blame Melo and it's now getting to the point that it make me think that something is wrong with you. I'm serious !!

Criticizing the team is not the same as leaving the team. It's clear he still wants the team to rebuild towards championship contention.

There are hoops fans that have Knicks as their favorite team,

then there are fans of the Knicks because they think it's cool for whatever reason but they don't really like the sport of basketball,

Criticizing the team endlessly no matter what the results would indicate you were never with this team to begin with.
Stating that your fandom is predicated on the team's producing the results you want, when you want it, how you want it, is shopping, it's not being a fan.

tkf is exactly what he stated, a fan of the NBA who wants to cheer for a team that has a plan, players and staff that meet his tastes and standards. And that's okay.

Just please don't try equating that with "being with the team". That's being with yourself.

And no amount of background statistical analysis is going to change that.

It's his gloating when we lose that annoys me (and disappearance when we're winning). If you go on a fan forum to gloat that that team has lost, you are a troll.

So even if he is a troll just ignore him. Fighting him is clearly not working. It just adds fuel to his fire

I don't think tkf is doing anything wrong,

I feel his pain. He's a Knicks fan that's not wearing rose colored glasses when he watches this team play.

And it must suck to have all the deluded fans bash him for years, to call him a hater constantly, only because these deluded fans are either afraid or unable to see the truth about the team they love.

Are you?

what should the past 3 years mean jrod? we traded away the farm to basically get where we were headed anyway... i ONLY USE denver because they took our players and won more games than we did, except they have a solid plan in place with many picks to execute a number of scenarios.. we don't... so the last 3 years mean nothing because we haven't accomplished squat...

did we make the carmelo trade to accomplish this? really?

not a good analogy, but i will play along.. if my son isn't performing up to snuff, i will stay on him and remind him of that.. it is how i am, I won't accept anything else.. especially not from my kid.. and I feel the same way about the teams I root for.. you are right, we choose who to root for, therefore my standards are high, otherwise why waste the time and effort?

And no amount of background statistical analysis is going to change that.

you sound foolish pretending to know who or what I am. I rooted for this team for over 30 years, when we sucked and when we were good. I don't like this current group at all.. why is that so hard to understand.. instead of spreading lies about me like some obsessed woman, why not focus on the knicks since you claim to be such a fan. you sure spend a lot of time worry about me.. again that is scary because it is not like I am a member of the team, the owner, the coach, I am just another dude who is posting about the knicks.. yet you and a few others seem to be so focused on me as if you were women I slept with and never called the next day... LOL...

tkf is exactly what he stated, a fan of the NBA who wants to cheer for a team that has a plan, players and staff that meet his tastes and standards. And that's okay.

another lie, yet you seem to take it so personal.. why should that matter to you?

Do you blame management? not a good analogy, but i will play along.. if my son isn't performing up to snuff, i will stay on him and remind him of that.. it is how i am, I won't accept anything else.. especially not from my kid.. and I feel the same way about the teams I root for.. you are right, we choose who to root for, therefore my standards are high, otherwise why waste the time and effort?

And no amount of background statistical analysis is going to change that.

you sound foolish pretending to know who or what I am.

I repost exactly what you say, calmly and slowly, without caps or colors or font changes, and you call it spreading lies. Interesting.

You seem to think every response to you is some hysterical scream. When in fact, you are the one whining and screaming incessantly like Melo killed your dog, raped your cat, did you dirty and left your panties in a knot. Apparently, you never get tired of this. Responding to you is what every fan of the knicks would do, because you attack the team and the players. I will hazard a guess after reading hundreds of your posts, that you might just love the art of getting responses out of people. I will not state this as a fact, so you won't need to utilize your standard response of liar, liar.

You don't like this group. You don't like the owner. You graciously hope the knicks turn it around and do things the right way someday, whatever and whenever that means, given that the last 3 years mean nothing to you. (Wait, that's another lie, right?)

You don't respond to statements, you just default to acting like the poor, lone voice victim, crying in the wilderness.

Until your personal defense attorney interjects with some words of wisdom about how you really, truly love the team deep inside your heart.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

2011 - Got a playoff win
2012 - Second round of the playoffs.

THE LAST 3 years meant nothing...not for what we paid... we put lipstick on a pig..for a veteran team that is supposed to be taking championship strides... with the guy you guys rave on about coming in 3rd in MVP voting.. the former DPOY who has rediscovered his nuts... the former #1 pick who is finally going to have an awakening in NY, shumpert who is paul george lite... I mean why is that we look such a mess.. disjointed, lost? why don't we look more like the pacers?

again, you sound hurt? why?

^^ PG play and poor coaching. We have no game plan, guys have no clue where they are supposed to be and we are still starting two PGs putting everyone else out of position because they are so bad.

amazing that a professional team can look this out of it. really looking forward to seeing a different knick team out there tomorrow.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

they have now become more focused on me than the knicks.. you would think I was the one that took a big contract, forced my way here and then talked about becoming a free agent.. lol

you would think I was the one who put his hand through a glass fire extinguisher plate..

What guys like TKF doesn't get is he criticizes the Knicks as if he lives in a different city(in which he does) even though he's a new-yorker, but seriously there is a way to talk about the team without sounding like an opposing fan from another city.

He doesn't get that !

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
Is there even one fan here with what we have seen
