for me, these comments from SAS means that SAS is all about drama

So Martin are you saying SAS didn't get this from an inner circle of confidants like all reporters have ?

That would be quite an inner circle source, like Woodson, Grunwald or Houston. I trust SAS but this. I wonder if he comments on it now that it is out.

I wonder if Metta was told to talk up Shumps value or if he genuinely is excited about playing with him. I don't want to lose Shump though. If the value we get back is worthy, then of course you consider it.

If he doesn't progress this season, then it would be easier to trade him, but we still haven't seen him play his "real" 2nd season without injury yet.

How about trying to develop our young players? Fast forward two years from now: That new draft pick is much better than Hardaway Jr. so let's trade Hardaway. Wash, rise, repeat, no wonder we haven't won crap in over 30 years

I'm hardly checking every single thread, but who is saying that?! Not sure anyone believes that, at least not until THJ gives us any reason to.

I don't know if SAS is legit on this one, but it doesn't matter. It's out there now. Dolan/Grunwald need to nip this in the bud, bring in Iman, and assure him it's not true (even if it is...wouldn't be the first time management has been a little iffy on the truth).

Only Shumpert Trade that I would welcome is:

Shumpert & Chandler for Aldridge.

nice to see the drunken hobbit owner trash the best prospect on his team.

I remember Sprewell's rant at Dolan at the Garden and Mike Breen crying about how disgraceful it was but its pretty easy to see after a few years why players and folks would feel that way about Dolan.

Smith addressed the video on his ESPN radio show yesterday and said he heard Dolan felt that way before the summer league began an doesn’t believe the Knicks owner still feels that way because Shumpert showed up in Las Vegas

I have heard SAS defend his sources in the past and stand firm on a story. This sounds a bit different.

Dolan has been know to be a level headed non-emotional leader of men who has long term vision building championships.

Since his rise from humble beginnings Dolan has built an empire by making investments in people and helping them fulfil their potential.

What is so amazing about the guy is he does not get bogged down in the small petty issues as he understands people are not perfect. He expects hard work and results because thats how he came up!

Until we read the above about Dolan than I tend to believe the worst information when it infact leaks out of propoganda machine. WE talking about a guy who fires security guards if they don't "respect" who he is.

Who is he anyway?

If the knicks can get any if those guys then Shumpert must go.

Shump is loved here but are we trying to develop talent or win within the next two seasons? Any of those guts would put us right there with Miami and Brooklyn

I agree. Also, the Knicks just signed a shooting guard and drafted a shooting guard. Shump has the reasonable contract and plays at a position where the Knicks have some depth. I don't want to see him traded but it isn't ridiculous to consider moving him.

Selective History.

He re-instated the security guard the very next day. Despite being an evil, arrogant, petulant billionaire.

As we all realize, any and almost all of the posters here at UK would be nothing but congenial, male versions of Mother Theresa, as well as the foremost model executive captains of industry and brilliant, studious basketball management geniuses, had they but the billions of dollars Dolan has.
Just ask your wife.

Some people live their lives and others type about it on the internet.

I will continue to love the Blue and Orange no matter who the owner is.

Lebron thought he was a clown.

Oh yes, yet another genius "Decision" brought to you by Mr. Floppy.

Oh my, looks like we touched a nerve with Dolan have we?

Organizational failure is a constant theme. Debate his attributes all you want but knicks record under his stewardship is not exactly inspirational.

Nobody expects "mother teresa" and all organizations make "hindsight blunders" even in route to success but this little dude is something else.

54 wins does not wipe out years of disorganizational failure. Blame starts and ends with ownership.

my wife owns and runs her own company with 25 employees. Guess who gets the profits? The losses? The glory? and teh Blame?
She'd agree.

In my business, its all on me. The good, the bad and the ugly!

Results are what matters and Dolan don't got much. If your talking about making money? He's very good at it.

Do u really believe Shumpert is an All Star level talent? If u dont whats the big deal. Im not saying trade him for Jared Dudley like that horrible trade but if the Knicks can get back a borderline All Star or a young player with equal talent at PG I would do it.

I think Shump has the athleticism to be an all-star but he doesn't have the game yet. I didn't see any improvement at SL because he was playing PG. I'm sure everyone realized that he wasn't doing himself any favors as SL and there were more productiive things he could do to work on his game. Especially since either Melo or Metta will play SF.

Why do you think it's so hard for us to get fair trades in the past. Not talking about the Melo trade though.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
