It is good to see lowIQ has finished crying into his Lin jersey and is ready for the post season!!!!

What the hell are you talking about. This is a positive thread. Learn how to read

Take it easy brah, wasn't attack you or your thread.

yes you were. :)

No I wasn't, I was trying to poke a little at the fact that the first people the Melo peace thread bring out are the posters drawing lines in the sand.

It's kinda funny, like a peace walk ending with a riot.

Unless you're Arod!

Yes, but standards are much lower than they were for the '90s Knicks. My guess is that one ECF appearance will be enough for him to be idolized by most of the fan base.

Bernard King was idolized by numerous Knick fans. He has a second round appearance on his Knick resume along with a scoring title....Whats the difference?

Not much.

BK came to us without the fanfaire and hype. He exceeded his previous reputation.

First Knicks 9-0 start in 20yrs

First Knicks scoring title in 30yrs
* Longest win streak in Knicks history?

Not much "Legacy" other than a pathetic knick history.

Its a really good season so far.

Looks more like a recovering addict.

"Went a month without a drink"
"didn't steal for 2 months"
"ate 3 square meals for first time in 4 years"
"Went to AA meetings"

Its nice, its a start.

Put that next to some other franchises and its a joke!

But, its a step in the right directions.

Naturally we don't make it out of 1st round its also "legacy".

Why celebrate something that has yet to happen?

Since we don't know how the Knicks season will end. I think its good to savor the moment and celebrate the progress after being down for so long. Say the Knicks to lose in the first rd. At least I gave myself a chance to savor some great moments and accomplishments.

Then when the playoffs start we can gear ourselves to a new set of accomplishments.

If you already feel the uncontrollable need to pee on a season like this one, and you can't appreciate that Knick basketball has improved dramatically over the past three years Melo's been here, you need to slowly and seriously sit down and ask yourself this question:

Am I a Knick fan?

Do Met fans wish they were the Yankees? They have collapses and painful eras galore.
Do Yankee fans pine for the day their organization will be run like the Dodgers or the Tigers?
Do Nugget fans whine endlessly about their pointless pain and pathetic history?
Do Rocket fans constantly sheehit on their own because the last chip was almost 20 years ago?

Nalod responds: Not sure about Met fans. Lower expectations, ticket prices.

Do Yankee fans pine for the day their organization will be run like the Dodgers or the Tigers?

Nalod responds: I doubt it. Not sure relevence to why a Knick fan would be asked this. Knicks are not Yankees are they? Knicks and Dodgers seem to have more in common.

Do Nugget fans whine endlessly about their pointless pain and pathetic history?

Nalod responds: I think all those trips to playoffs and dissapointments would make the whine at a higher level. I think all fan sites are the same except those who actually win champoinships. I going to guess that Denver has great season without melo so they don't really miss him?

Do Rocket fans constantly sheehit on their own because the last chip was almost 20 years ago?

Nalod responds. They won back to backs, had Yao Ming era and very bad injury run with him and McGrady. 2 chips in 20 is not the same for 2 in 43 years. It was a "fail" but you know there is a difference between making a run like they did than the idiot run of Isiah and a failed starphuch(s). IN fact, I'd rather rebuild and fail then be sold on starphuch after starphuch with no results.

Are they complaining? Think Laker fans are complaining with their rich history? You bet!

Do we have a rich history? Not in a long time!
