After watching what I missed, im glad we never traded Shump for Dudley
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

After the poor play for a while and all the injuries, it's been GREAT to see the team actually playing the right way. You can see the attention to defense and playing smarter on offense. Woody deserves a lot of credit for getting thru to the team and especially JR. I hope this is a permanent change in JR cuz he's finally living up to his vast potential. In fact I think Melo can learn a little from JR at this point. Melo can get jumper happy at times and he needs to change to doing more of what JR has been doing lately.

Yeah, but melo and JR aren't the same player. JR is more agile, he can more easily dance around defenders for a lay-up. Melo uses his strength to force himself inside. There are plenty of nights where melo forces it inside and the defense collapses on him causing a lot of missed lay-ups. Melo's strength is the mid-range, taking it to the hole is important, but it's not a viable constant game plan for him as it is with hyper-athletic HR.

only if by that you mean they wouldn't have the stamina...if you smoke just a bit before going on the court it can help you focus sometimes :P

I was reffering to the Memphis game, which was as close to this scenario this season as you can get and happened very recently.
Obviously the Bobcats aren't the Grizzlies, and I'm not doubting New York just like I didn't doubt them vs Memphis.

they are not related but almost everyone does that. Chris Smith played at UL and was with the knicks in the summer
