So the league has a bias against what's allowed to be said to Carmelo?

Only the audio can answer that.

LOL. Good thing Dolan's on the case. This trash talking is killing the competitive balance of the league.

Idk, Woodson tells his team to stop complaining now theres a report of audio recording interation with the player with the most techs in the league.

Makes sense to me, but on here....not surprised like my first post on the thread.

His gripes haven't been about ref retaliation it's about how they call games and he gripes multiple times a year Finals appearances or not, so no his team is not benefiting from his griping.

He tried to be slick going to Twitter and got caught yet again.

Did you read what you just wrote?

It's because he's a richer Father Figure than Woody. The Mavs don't have any volatile personalities on their team either and haven't for some time besides maybe Stevenson. He's fighting their on court battles for them while accomplishing NADA with the league. Although Mayo and Carter are in the Top 30 player technicals it has more to do with the personality of the player.

The point is the refs don't retaliate because Cuban is making headway with the league, they still dork up games his team plays probably more so than any other team which always has him bitchin.

Trying to find out what is being said TO melo and how it is starting is a very smart move for Dolan, if that is indeed his intent.

This is a good move. Even if it results in one suspension for any opposing player. Even better if that player is from Eastern, or better yet Atlantic division. Anyway, its just Dolans money, finally something positive might come out for us. Even if its some argument for not getting suspended. Heck, even if league reviews and removes just one of Melos future techs its already a plus.

Dolan has minions to follow players and moniter what they say to the Media.

Its generally weird. Wonder if he has cameras and watches them shower?

Watch women pee.

Dolan is a strange boy.

Having players miked to protect his Investment is actually a bit weird, but given his suspension I understand.

Too bad he does not pay attention to all the details on the things like if coach's are good fits, or character flaws in his pal Isiah.

the stop complaining remark from Woodson was regarding the Ref's not trash talking. I like the fact that Dolan is trying to look out for his guys. Big Ups to Dolan

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

a good team owner would go to melo directly and remind him that he is getting paid 20 million to keep his composure and win ballgames and that he better get his head straight come playoff time.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

How is this even eavesdropping? Do you know what eavesdropping actually is? Dolan is most likely reviewing the tapes to determine what words were exchanged between KG and Melo. It's not rocket science and Dolan is not the first owner or gm to review tapes in attempt to ascertain what occurred during a game. SMH.

Dude the Audio Staging was put in place after the Melo/Garnett incident and if this was something done on a regular basis by every team in the league including our own then Dolan surely would have caught Garnett saying Honey Nut Cheerios or something else of that nature to Melo as would myriads of other players across the league.

For the record did Dolan send in Video footage to the league of Nate DDC at the Garden..... which is aking to trash talking Steve Novak so the league can set parameters there of a potential fine. He might want to consider it, if he hasn't since he's playing a game of House him being the Daddy.

The league is aware of it and has no issues....

“There are no prohibitions against having audio equipment in the arena,” an NBA spokesman said.

According to a league source, the decision to employ the microphones was made to protect the combustible Anthony from another “he said-he said’’ dispute by having an audio record of what’s said on the court. The carefully calibrated mics transmit audio feeds into recorders in trucks on the Garden loading docks.

On a side note, why isn't this banned by the NBA- essentially we have the audio of everything the opposing coaches said to their players. Could be helpful, but not sure why it's allowed.

Imagine if your boss at work had super sensitive microphones trained on you every second while you were on the job. Yea, that is the perfect environment to feel comfortable in.
