What about Marriage counseling for Melo?

Marriage is about spending time with each other and enjoying that time. Entertainment people have a hard time with marriage because of time apart. When you get used to being apart its gets complicated.

Hey, we all want our guys to be happy and play well. The extent of our personal relationship in my opinion is they are basketball players and thats about it. I can feel for them as humans but every day there are people around us that live lives and we can make an impact. They are paid entertainers and have their own support systems. The need for privacy is tough because they make a good living being public figures (La La has her show? I have never seen it.) but when things go wrong they need to shut it down and deal with real life things. He has a son, it could be complicated.

when fasting for Yom Kipper its just 24 hours and just water. Eating fruits, nuts and raw veggies is a good thing but I never considered that fasting. Must be hell on the stomach.

water on yom kippur is not allowed!

I thought water and "ruggalah" only?

I thought elders were allowed to drink water. Can't kill off grandma Bubby if she dehydrates can we?

Better fasting than raiding the frig. If it helps Melo get himself right I'm all for it.

If Melo is depressed or stressed for his marriage he should seek professional help, not go on a liquid diet.

You guys must not read the news on listed on the very site. Melo has said that his marriage is solid, no issues and no plans to separate or divorce. I have no reason to doubt him on this

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Actually I didn't know that either. I bookmarked the forum and never go to the main website.

That is ALWAYS my first stop. Best place to find current Knicks news around. Especially post game coverage like Novak totally sonning Nate.

I swear, Melo could rescue a family from a burning building, and some people around here would call him a selfish dyck for forcibly removing a family from their private residence. Everything the man does is an excuse to become a lightening rod for criticism.

Hakeem the dream observed ramadan every year, and fasted for a whole calendar month.

Rightly or wrongly, if you have the worst playoff record of any player in decades, you get a lot of scrutiny. Does that really surprise you?

you're implying that there is some irrational hatred of melo the person,

this is absolutely not the situation,

melo attracts all the criticism he gets because of his actions,

i'm not here to dump on melo, love the guy but i also see that there are some cracks under the surface, this is not being a bad fan, it doesn't mean i don't root my balls off for our knicks every time they play,

yeah, if you abstract all fact and reason from his playoff record, and make the best player on the court the exclusive source of failure. Denver was a bottom feeding organization for years before he arrived, and he made them a contender instantly. Nobody could have won with the rosters we had going into his two series as a Knick. Those that say what you offered are just being obtuse

no, that's true ****. Maybe your just not reading enough posts but, ever since Lin went to Houston, the Melo hate has been over the top. They quieted down while we were looking like world beaters just waiting for us to lose a few games so they can feel vindicated and validated in the own small little worlds.

well, since you just joined a few months ago your ignorance (I don't mean that maliciously) is understandable. Stick around, go read some older threads and stay current on the Melo topics and you will become a believer too. Not making this up, there have been threads over 20pages mainly bashing Melo.

Go back to the threads started right after we lost Lin...the hatred was epic.

also, I don't thin ANYONE suggested they were hating on melo just for the hell of it. Fans are often fuking insane (I suffer from a bit of fan-sanity as well) and only they truly know why they feel how they do. Some have probably hated him from his Denver days. I used to hate Jordan with a passion and would often wish injury on him. See, Fan-sanity at its finest :)
