1. There is nothing that KG can say that justifies losing your professional conduct. Its a game. Its not like KG personally knows how La La tastes. If he did, then its personal.2. Even if KG is talking about Derek Fischers kid who is a very sick child, you don't lose it. You deal with it off the court via the proper channel. If KG does it off the court, then its a different story. KG says it because of the game. To get in your head. Its because of the game. Melo been in the league 8 years and knows KG is will do it. The thing he said to Charlie V. was eventually made public and KG looked bad because of it. Maybe he don't care. Who cares what a dumbass says anyway.
3. Im kind of glad players still do this instead of this fraternal nice thing all the time. Im old school and players should not like each other. I have heard MJ say some real nasty stuff to team mates and opponents. I think MJ who was friends with Mugsy bogues about ruined him VERBALLY. Its the game. Im glad players want to win.
4. Nalod been married 26 years and my wife is attractive and gets hit on from time to time over the years. Maybe if my wife cheated on me or my marriage made me feel insecure I'd feel different.
5. "Honey nut cheereos"? Well thats better than "Capt' crunch" especially with them "Crunch berries" but im not sure what to make of it. Is "honey nut cheereos' really that good or that bad? How can the Commish really address this without laughing? Its pretty damn funny if you ask me. Childish. Even more so the way Melo reacted. Please tell me there is more to it?
6. You in the mecca, you being cheered "MVP--MVP--MVP", your praised by Bernard King, Your tutored with manhood guidence by woodson, and the big bad Celtics are in town and you freaking lose it by "honey nut chereos"?
"Its a honey of an oat, its honey nut cheereos".
Do you feel what KG allegedly said as "professional conduct?"
We don't know exactly what was said and what wasn't. We don't know how far he went or even if the cheerios comment was a part of it. Also, we don't know that Melo went to see him to fight. Maybe he was there to tell him off or get something off his chest. Whatever the case may be, I agree that Melo should have handled the situation better. But you're letting KG off the hook here. There really are no rules to hold KG accountable in this situation but it doesn't mean that he should be given a pass to make abusive personal comments about people's families. People call it gamesmanship, but what about sportsmanship?
Question: is there a rule that says a player can not meet a player from an opposing team at the bus? Honest question here.
