Mario Chalmers, Tony Parker, Russell Westbrook, and Chris Paul.

So only 4 in a league of 30??

Yep, and it's all because of Felton the rest of the team has nothing to do with it. That's why his teams in Charlotte and Portland were always so good.

Not comparing the two, but Chris Paul's teams sucked in NO..What conclusions might u draw from the Clippers playing well now...

At best felton misses 11-14 games, not sure why we would consider adding or trading for a pg..

I thought that's what the d-league affiliate was for..

All of his NO teams did not suck and he was injured during 2 seasons of campaigns while there. They did have a couple bad yrs though

The year before Paul was drafted the Hornets went 18-64. Since then his teams have finished:

2005-06: 38-44
2006-07: 39-43
2007-08: 56-26
2008-09: 49-33
2009-10: 37-45 but he only played in 45 games
2010-11: 46-36
2011-12: 40-26 the equivalent of 49-33 in a full season
2012-13: 24-6 so far, on pace for 65-17

Honestly though, I don't know what kind of argument you were trying to make anyway. My point was that Felton is a small part of whole and the team's record belongs to the team, not Felton.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

I know u know the point I'm trying to make...But my take is that Felton is a larger part of the success story here than many understand or are willing to admit for various reasons...

No question is a part of the success. It will become obvious when Kidd is shut down with a bad back and Felton gets full reign. Doesn't change the fact that we were better off with Lin in the short and long term

Obviously I disagree...I don't think we are the same team or have the same record with Lin...I think the playoffs he will prove to be even more of an asset...Playing in a half court offense where there will be more ball pressure...Lin is ok...I don't understand why some feels he is far superior...I have seen no evidence of this...

I love the dopes pointing to our record and trying to give Felton props because of it

were we not 18-6 finishing off last season with many TD and MB games?

IDk, but Bibby definitely helped us win that one playoff game.

Not sure about the Dopes part but yes very good point. As I've said all along Melo, Amare, Lin, Tyson, Kidd, Shump, JR, Camby, Rasheed, Cope is a hell of a team

I do think we are winning despite his play, although I wont say he hasn't helped the team win any games, because he has.

Hell Tyson at one point was feasting off felton misses, might as well been passes.

It depends on what you mean by "part of the success." I think people are choosing the wrong comparison. If you ask, "Are we better off with a healthy Felton than with losing Felton, having no replacement, and forcing Kidd and Prig to play too many minutes," the answer is yes, but that's a bad question to ask because there are always other options. A better question is, "Is Felton better than what a GM should be capable of buying for 4 years, $18 mil?" He makes just slightly below the league average salary but he is way below average in scoring efficiency and does not compensate for that by being way above average in anything. Or perhaps you can ask, "Does Felton provide substantially more than a guard at a much lower salary?" I highly doubt it. How does he compare, for example, to Chris Duhon (2 yrs, $8 mil), Jason Terry (3 yrs, $15 mil), Keyon Dooling (1 yr, $1.3 mil), Louis Williams (3 yrs, $15 mil)? I'm sure there are many more examples - I just scanned the payrolls for a few teams. I think each of the guys above is a better bargain.
