No surgery but they are still saying he will be out 4-6 weeks.

I love Felton's overall game. This sucks. More than just losing his offense, we're losing a lot. His heart. His defensive hustle, effort and his ability to look for Tyson Chandler down low.

It's been termed a "complex fracture", here is the definition:

Complex Fractures
About Complex Fractures

The term “complex fracture” describes a broken bone that is more severe than what is common or routine. Fractures are considered to be complex when:

The fragments are comminuted (broken into many pieces)
The soft tissues are severely damaged
There is loss of bone due to severe trauma
There is disruption of the articular surface (severe cartilage injury at a joint)
There are multiple fractures at several levels in a single bone
There is an associated joint dislocation

Complex Fracture Treatment Options

A variety of methods are available to stabilize complex fractures. These include a vast array of internal and external fixation devices.
Because of the complex nature of this area of orthopedics, choosing a surgeon who has substantial experience treating complex fractures is important.

Ouch- could take a while to heal from, the sounds of it, also wonder if it will heal with 100% movement back.

The Knicks probably won't make any roster changes with Felton out, but worth noting Erie just added PG Demetri McCamey.

I suppose he's at least worth a look at the D-League but I don't know that there's much there from a guy who was waived by both a Turkish and Israeli team within 6 months of each other.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Another guard waived by the Rockets.

He probably doesn't want to risk re-injuring it even further.
