17-5 sounds really nice.

There is no question about it, Melo will compete with Kobe stride for stride. If Tyson Chandler can compete with Dwight Howard (which he usually does) I like our chances.

Notice a trend here?

lakers have had great success against us in the garden.

dont forget about dunleavey or hansbrough those guys have career highs against us

Jamison does well against us he scares me a little

Im very worried about the Cavs game too. How many times have we rolled over for them post-lebron

Tonight's game is not about past performances or worrying about what the other guy does. These New York Knicks are experienced enough to understand the angles. This is not their first rodeo. Accordingly, the preparation for this game started on the bus ride to Greenburgh from Brooklyn.

Jason Kidd is texting Raymond Felton as we speak.

Woody don't play that.

Chill out people. Yes the game is important from an ego/ media hype standpoint but Kobe is just one man and D'Antoni did the best he could while he was here. No hard feelings. He had a revolving door roster and fossils playing guard when it mattered most. It was what it was.

Tyson Chandler will have his game face on. Dwight can go to the line all he wants.

Start with Brew on Kobe and bring JR for him to chase around.

Chris Duhon vs Raymond Felton? You are kidding, right? (pun intended)

If Pau cannot go who has the most dangerous baller in the NBA? Ron Artest on Carmelo? Let the games begin.

Sheed can draw Hansbrough outside with his range and offer the UNC yoot some old school lessons in the paint. Dunleavy? Put James White on him.

You don't mess wit Mike Woodson on his home court.

Yup. Pretty sure Earl means the ghosts of Hansborough or Dunleavy will manifest itself on one of the Lakers scrubs, Hill, Du Du, or Devin Ebanks sparking a career game against the Knicks.

At 16-5 overall, we're off to our best start since the 1993-1994 season. 19 years.

A win tonight would improve us to 17-5 overall, which would be our best start since (I believe) the 1970's...

Really can't wait for tonight's game.

We really should win win the next few games on our court. There is no reason to lose to the rockets again and the cavs so i expect 19-5

I agree.

And damn, just checked our schedule and seen that tonight is the start of a 6 game home stand. The crazy thing? We're undefeated at home and should win all 6 of these games.

Lakers.
Cavs.
Rockets.
Nets.
Chicago.
Minny.

Lakers are a mess and injured. Cavs are the Cavs. Rockets are coming to N.Y this time. Nets are coming to N.Y for the first time (Well, MSG). Chicago is coming to NY this time, and we'll have Melo and Minny isn't a powerhouse.

Would it be crazy to dream 22-5 heading into our Christmas game against LAL?

The only people quoted was you homey.

"We" shouldn't take the Lakers lightly? Only a fool would take ANY team lightly. Since we have a demanding head coach and a roster of experienced players, any worry about being complacent against the Laker is a waste of time.

Worried about the Rockets again. I was worried before the first game and I'm worried about any team that can make us play fast and rebound. Should be worried about the Cavs too.

Yo Homey i never said that the Knicks are complacent all i said is that a team like the lakers still have dangerous players like Dwight and Kobe. In fact I said that the Knicks would win. Clear enough homey?

Unfortunately that's the Knicks achilles heel. Speedy teams that get out and run will give us trouble this season.

Knicks will have to continue to play efficient slow it down, grind it out in the 4th quarter ball.

I don't think it's "speedy teams", I think it's teams that make us pick up our tempo. The Sixers are a speedy young team, but they can't make us run because they don't have the offense to make us do it.

The Rockets have Omar who makes us take more jump shots, rebounds greats and they have shooters. That's a bad match up for the knicks.

Danphoney vs Woodson

Kobe vs Melo

Fakers 5 game losing streak - Knicks winning streak undefeated at home, for sure one will continue.

Knicks can't come out making this game personal(grudge game) and not play their A game.

THE GAME IS 90% MENTAL AND 10% PHYSICAL

Our team must have their head in the game early on, I know the fans will!

Close your eyes and listen to the lyrics, Q- Tip should re-do the video with current players.

I'm a lil nervous about this game, like Misterearl. Unless we come out with the killer instinct in the 1st qtr. LIKE WE DID AGAINST THE HEAT !!!

If the Fakers players like Danphoney , they might play right and try and win one for the Gipper.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
