We didn't score very much, but still, it was a good win. In control for most of the game, and didn't let a depleted Nets team steal one from us. Very important standings wise.

Toronto lost. Boston will go down to Dallas. Go UTah (v CLE)

Cleveland loses. Knicks go to 6th?
Yup.

We just have to keep climbing up. We're doomed if we get stuck in that 6th seed. We're only 3 games behind the Bucks and 4 games behind the Hornets for the 4th/5th seeds! If we can't reach that high I'll be perfectly happy finishing 7th and playing the Nets.

Harrington played because Lenny wanted to rest the regulars some.
We're in the middle of a back-to-back and need fresh legs to run wit the Bulls.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Ahh yeah...

Good win. We need wins, and we got it tonight. I just got back from MSG, I went to the game with Woodman. Wee were LOAO at the chump-azz Nets fans hanging their heads, slumping in their seats, and leaving early very wuietly... HAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!! We yelled for them to get the hell outta our house, goddammit!!!

KNICKS, BABY!!! just that quick, we put a 3-win streak together! We're only 3 games behind the Bucks for the #5 spot. They've lost 3 straight... Looks like KVH is working his magic over there! LOLL

TT & Nazr did what they had to do. Once again, GOOD TRADE, Messiah Thomas!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Very important win--- you've gotta take them when they're practically given to you. With no Kidd and no Martin, they're not even close to the team that's gone to the finals the last 2 years.

It does make for some curious playoff strategies. Before I used to want a matchup against the Pistons... but after the Wallace trade, I might be changing my mind. While they still have no superstars, Rasheed helps balance them out by adding an established scoring presence inside... and gives them added quickness and depth inside. In other words, you need to do more than just stop the guards.

The Nets look to be a little wounded right now... and this doesn't bode well as they try to close out the season. You wonder if Kidd's knee troubles will right themselves in time for the playoffs. W/O him, they're just another average team. With our new improved frontcourt, we match up much better with them than the team we started the year with. We're taller and faster--- our size and depth is something we should be able to exploit.

The #5 seed would be fantastic... but I'm not holding my breath. TJ Ford's absence is beginning to be felt by the team; Damon Jones, while a great shooter, is not the most proficient starting PG in the league. As his scouting report grows, team are learning how to neutralize his ball distribution. They're very vulnerable right now (in spite of KVH's greatness!) so a winning streak right now would be very prudent.

The bucks are greatly suffering from TJ's injury, and the hornets are making their usual end year fading.

As you said, good time to make a run.
