I would like to add that I think win shares for the most don't mean much too me.

same here... but Bonn is the first guy to **** all over an argument if you can't qualify your position with numbers. well here are the numbers. Waiting for him to provide numbers to back his point

it'll be a cold day in hell bro...

Numbers for what?
Anyway, I've already said I use WS, WP, and any other well-validated stat. You guys can look up the numbers yourselves for any players. I just take the average of the players WS and WP.

I've been living in Los Angeles since 1996... The Laker's organization is run by good businessman. He even got his daughter involved with Phil Jackson. Shrewd indeed. Wish our Knicks had something like that.

For Howard I see. Don't think there was a Knick offer, so that's pretty hypothetical the Knicks would take on those contracts.

For Nash to Knicks, it was a pretty reasonable sign and trade offer:

Nash would receive a three-year contract in the $25 million range while Phoenix would receive Shumpert and a handful of cap-friendly contracts such as Toney Douglas, Josh Harrellson and Jerome Jordan.

Don't see any bad contract taking in there, just Shumpert and some expirings by the Knicks.

P.S. 3 year/$25mill for Nash is a steal compared to you know who

18 mil for Felton?

Isn't it 3 years/$10 mill or 4 years/$18 mill. Forgot what the official contract was, but doesn't seem like much no?

4 yr(s) / $14,861,532
2012 - $3,480,453
2013 - $3,637,073
2014 - $3,793,693
2015 - $3,950,313 (Plyer option)

Can anyone say bargain?

uh no, no one can. For most of his career, Felton has played like a vet min player.

But...but....but...we traded him and all our future potential HOF'ers for Melo!!! How dare you dis the PG of Back to the Future.

My oh my, how times have changed.

uh no, no one can. For most of his career, Felton has played like a vet min player.

except when he was in New York and played like a borderline all-star

Under mda. Bonn is right outside of that one season he has played like a vet min player

Outside that season? No. Outside the first 7 or 8 weeks of that season would be more accurate.

http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/f/feltora01/splits/2011/

I think you're giving Felton too much credit, his play started to tank in December of that year. If you look at his splits, even though he was still scoring and making assists his shooting percentages dropped to 41.4% fg and 33% 3fg and never recovered.

Its funny that many of the same people were so upset he was traded from the knicks.

LOVE IT!

Said by a poster who wasn't even here when Felton was traded

Not here? How do you know that? I have been following this forum for a number of years and maybe just maybe - I was actually someone else

Ever think of that Mr Professor?

I had a feeling the other people agreeing with you were just you using a different name. Now it is confirmed!

Classic. When called out on inconsistencies, please refer to the absolute credibility of Comparitive Join Date.

Oh Gee, I was here long before Felton got traded, I must have the credibility to say how stupid some posters sound now.

Can't wait for the "I always new Gallo was an overrated, brittle SF who woulnd't amount to much" thread.
