It would actually make me score on big one for Dolan. Very Theatrical

Beck is a Knicks beatwriter for all we know he was sent out at 4pm today by the Knicks to stir things up and make the official decision more epic

He is an honorable guy, he would not let himself get used that way.

Beck has actually switched over to the Nets actually... which makes you want to guess that he is trolling but Beck has actually always been one of the best writers out there so he wouldn't do that (and he has great sources).

If Knicks by some miracle decide to match on Lin....it will likely be because of negative backlash or change of heart.

Guys. It's all good. I tweeted to Lin's Twitter account to reach out to the Dolan. :)

Lin defecting to the Rockets isn't good for the Knicks, Lin, or the NBA.

Knicks don't have the assets to make a big splash this offseason like other teams ala Brooklyn. This is their big splash. They will milk every second til 11:59pm

Who's to say all these reports for the past 2 weeks or so weren't BS all along? If they do match, wasn't that what they said they'd do all along? The negativity began over the weekend and the backlash was apparent since then. They wouldn't have needed 3 days to see it. It was reported when Landry first signed his offer sheet that it's simply team policy to take the full time allotted to make a decision. And with free agency as it is...you never know what moves are available so why would they jump the gun on a deadline right?

In a couple of hours we'll hear the answer from the source, and we'll never know the whole truth of all these developments from the past three days. At least it'll be over one way or another.

One hour left, and I am out for the night. Too tired and need to get to work for a 7.30 AM meeting tomorrow. I never had much faith in last minute decisions. I still hope they keep him but hope is not a strategy. It's been an eventful ride, mostly filled with desparation and hopelessness. Time to do other things in life. If they keep him, I'll be back, if not no regrets. I will still root for this team, just not with quite as much passion.

This board's been a large part of my interest in the Knicks and I'll keep reading it from time to time. Whatever happens I wish the Knick players the best, and Dolan the worst.

Over and out.
