The dude has a problem, but you know what? Friends don't let friends drink and drive. Plenty of people saw he was barely able to stand. Take his keys away and call someone to take his drunk ass home.

Thank you, couldn't agree more. I am more disgusted by the lack of action by the people surrounding him than him getting hammered.

True. I doubt that he went to the party alone. Even if he did, someone could have called the guy a cab. Jason Kidd is lucky that he didn't kill himself in that crash last night.

Now we're going to have to hear the sports media harp about Jason Kidd having an alcohol problem, even if this was an isolated incident.

That's the worst part about the whole thing. I know that I've taken my friends' car keys away from them when they were too drunk.

I know its the summer but is he really here to mentor, compete, or here collecting an assist on a nice early retirement sum?
Hope he is not pulling a Rasheed Wallace/Shaq...

If he killed himself or goes to jail? Do we get the contract voided and the mini MLE back?

His friend's probably didn't want to fight a 6'4 230 strong 40 year old for his keys with alcohol range/muscle...

Dude's 38 been dinking since he was 16 never had a DWI nevr had a drinking problem..No I'm not saying it's all good, i'm saying 1 DWI out of 500 times driving home after a few drinks is pretty good

Lin is probably sitting there in his room shaking his head. "This guy wants to mentor me....get the **** out of here." This silly behavior by Kidd is only going to fed into Lin's competitive attitude once he becomes a Rocket.

I like Jason Kidd btw. Awesome guy/player.
