The inflated salary doesn't prevent the Knicks from signing anyone (3M exception), which is what they would have either way. You need to retain your assets. Right. No bi-annual, no mid-level, can't increase salary at all in trade, no sign and trades, no Gilbert Arenas provision. In other words, you lose most avenues to improve your team. Your avenues to improve team are mini-mid level, veteran min contracts and trades where you reduce salary. In other words, 90% of the chances to improve team are gone. Not to mention the team is paying a higher percentage of luxury tax than in the previous CBA. That's pretty close to a hard cap. No flexibility. Do you give this up for Landry Fields? I don't. Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Because by signing him you are probably already in that situation you described. That's why I think you match Fields, because either way you are going to be over the cap threshold. PURE KNICKS LOVE

anyway, i agree that Weems is essentially Fields. more athletic, probably a better defneder, has more of a mean streak. just as bad a shooter. probably better at driving with the ball. a little shorter than fields, but not much. ¿ △ ?
