I repeat nash is not coming to the knicks
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

dont mean to be rude but lets wait and see what happens. Sure he is probably not coming but he lives in new york and has a better chance winning here so its not out of the question.

But dude...its like a 1/10000 chance of him coming here...i think he would like to come here...but hes not gonna take a pay cut

I think we jus focus on more realistic options...like felton

1. There may too much pressure put on him, at his age, to win a championship in NY.
2. Could he not just play for Miami at the price we give him?
3. Toronto is giving him 12 million a year and he can eventually be their GM or Coach, honestly.
4. Sign and trade for who, Fields?

Just don't see it happening. Honestly, I think it would end up hurting the Knicks. Too much expectation as it is.

First of all teher should be expectation. I mean i know our franchise has been a joke for 12 years but in the 90's we were a force that came extremely close to being champs multiple times. We have a very small window to win it all. I like felton but i trudt nash more than him

ESPN Radio reporting that the Nets are trying to set up a meeting with Nash. It would be funny if Nets end up with Wallace, Nash Joe Johnson and no cap space.

If true, you really have to wonder if the Nets have a game plan..It just seems like they are just flailing in the wind...

Nash would be huge but I don't see it happening.

If the Knicks could somehow pull of this miracle in a sign and trade I think they would still have the 3 mil mle to use that would be a grand slam.
No layups!

They have no plan Billy King is flat out awful. Your going to tell me they needed to trade the 6th pick in the draft to give Wallace a 4 year 40 million dollar contract. No one was doing that. They could of brought him in as a FA

Common sense tells me there is no frickin way the Suns are taking are crap and giving us Nash. The Suns are trying to make their team better not the Knicks. Landry Fields is regarded as a borderline rotation player and TD is terrible. Why would would the suns want them? Id rather lose him for nothing then take them back
well to be fair was tyson chandler going to the knicks on anybody's radar until it happened

Different set of circumstances. Chandler was a FA and the Mavs didnt want to sign him. They didnt have to take Horrible players and contracts back.No 1 wants to pay Tony Douglas

Not so different. Suns are lukewarm on bringing Nash back. And Knicks can also throw in 3M cash to take care of Douglas' contract and then some.

as per ESPN: "Despite all the chatter, it is virtually inconceivable that Nash will end up in New York. The Knicks already used their amnesty on Chauncey Billups a year ago and can't create cap room to sign Nash. In fact, New York almost certainly will be in the tax after re-signing Jeremy Lin, Steve Novak and J.R. Smith, which means Nash almost certainly would have to take the Knicks' taxpayer midlevel exception, which would start at $3.09 million. He'd be taking about $10 million a year less than his market value, give or take, while playing the same position as Lin, a marketing cash cow. Move along, people, nothing to see here."

This was probably written about a week ago before anyone took the time to investigate sign and trade scenarios.

Nash can play with ANYONE!!!!! Some of you are totally underestimating just how GREAT Nash is even now! He won't have to log major minutes with a quality PG like Lin. And YES you can play Nash and Lin together, heck Woody played Lin and Baron. It all depends on the defensive scheme and who else is on the floor, but then you're playing D'Antoni's game of odds which says that my team can score at better than 50% and hold you to less than that and we win most of the time. You won't have to play that way all game but for stretches it can be very effective.

Who knows if Grunwald can pull it off but to question the move is not logical. Nash is not a normal floor leader he's an active HOF player that specializes in making players better! There is no valid argument against adding him. Just go look at his production even now with a garbage team around him.

I like Nash and all but you don't trade a defensive beast in Shumpert for a 38 year old PG.
