Look at Deron Williams people thought he was all world in Utah now he is a me first guy with a bad attitude. Why isn't the "best Pg" making his team better?

Bottom line is when you play with flawed teams you will always look flawed as a star.

Huh?

Our supporting cast is not Nets garbage, Hornets garbage, Smush Parker or anyone you mentioned. Why are you comparing those dire situations to ours? Ours is not a dire situation. It's not Carmelo Anthony and a bunch of Jerome James clones. This is a talented team with depth.

Nobody thinks Deron Williams is a me-first guy with a bad attitude so I have no idea what you're saying. It's a fact that everyone knows that team flat out sucks. That is in no way comparable to us.

Also, what does anything you said have to do with the teams Carmelo has played both here and in Denver? Carmelo has always played with better players than Smush Parker or Johan Petro. Much, much better players. Always.

You can get all the +1's in the world but our post doesn't relate to the facts at hand.

He played with better players than Petro? O thought you said you looked at the roster. tisk tisk. He actually played with Petro. LOL. You think Smush Parker isn't Toney Douglas. He might have been a little better. That may not be true but still.

the facts at hand are that the team has been decimated by injuries big and small to Lin, Shumpert, Amar'e, Tyson and Baron - aka 5 of the best players on the team.

Melo and JR are pretty much all that's left and they're being blamed for not passing.

GIMME A BREAK.

look. they're gonna lose. that doesn't make it melo's fault.

Never did I say it is Melo's fault. You must have missed the first post.

Unfortunately the first slightest criticism of Carmelo Anthony is a sin and automatically makes you a hater and blaming him for everything.

Melo is not the problem.

But at the same time he is not the solution.

Judging by the support he gets its obvious he attracts fans and they defend him.

Fans like Melo and Meloball.

Dolan does not care about silly things like court spacing, who is coaching, and what a teams ceiling is.

He wants to sell tickets.

We have a fun team to watch but one with a low ceiling for the foreseeable future.

I want to keep everyone next season even Melo, Amare and Lin.

C'mon the Heat played us like it was the NBA finals you don't do that unless you think we are a dangerous team... that's a huge compliment. Then throw in the awful refereeing and you lose a game by 30... it can and did happen.

I think everyone should take a deep breath and remember this was a tough shortened season, we had no real PG for most of the season, went through Linsanity, MDA's resignation, tons of injuries and we just never had any sort of routine, steadiness or stability.

I like this team, I really do. And I think we are a tweak or two away and one more season of experience from getting to the NBA finals.

I'm with you, though I wouldn't mind losing Amar'e after his idiocy

There is nothing wrong with that btw. It was a fun season to watch and the team played well in stretches. Linsanity was a blast and Melo was player of the month in April.

They made the playoffs, ratings were up and obviously Melo has his fans!

I don’t blame losing the series on Melo, I was not expecting the Knicks to win it, however, I was expecting a much better performance from Melo and the team.

Wasted season as Amare gets another year older, slower, and dumber. We will be frustrated for as long as that team in Miami is put together. They have the stars that took less money and they made great mid level signings. We cant even use the mid level to add to this team because Lin is going to demand it. U know the PG that cant get the ball up the court against Miami

-1, Deron is looking eerily like Marbury on the Nets.

Hate Deron's game, definitely a Marbury 2.0 in the making.

Chuck first, Chuck 2nd, pad assist stats after chucking to make it seem like a "true point guard". Throwing a highly respected coach of over 20 years under the bus doesn't help either.

Wow, Dude are comparing Deron Williams to Marbury?

Marbury's problem is he thought he could do it alone.

The problem with Melo-haters is what is the alternate solution? Sit and wait for another star for who knows how long? Build a team like Philly or Denver, who will never be a contender? There aren't any real alternatives, but it is easy to complain I know. Stars don't grow on trees. Melo is the closest thing we've had since Ewing. The problem wasn't getting Melo, the problem was that the plans probably should have changed when we got Melo. We need to build the best team possible with Melo as the focal point. Chandler, Lin, and Shumpert is a great start. Let's continue to build!

Time to move Carmelo
