The point is though that he should play mostly if not entirely C so that he can use his speed advantage and Melo can stay at PF. Both play better at those positions. Incorporating Amare will be Woodson's biggest challenge. It doesn't sound like he's planning to do what I would do but hopefully he knows best.

When STAT gets back he's starting. The only way the Knicks in the playoffs is with both on the floor at the same time and the more time they have together on the court the better. Besides, before STAT went down they were playing well with each other. Also, STAT starting means Shump goes back to the 2nd unit which makes our 2nd unit better.
