no doubt SVG will be able to get an analyst job and live comfortably without having to deal with divas.
Saying "**** u Dwight! **** u management!" in public is handling it like a man? Smh.
The thing about some people (I've noticed) is that some of you think that there is always one person who is 100% in the right and the other person is 100% in the wrong in every case. Life isn't that simple. I actually said there is enough blame to go around. In this case, throwing a tantrum is not good. That's what a scorned woman would do. Or a child. No different from D12's behavior. Shaq called SVG a master of panic. And Shaq has played for some of the best to ever coach the game. I agree.
i'm not saying anything about who's right and who's wrong. i don't follow Orlando enough to have an opinion on it.
fact of the matter is, SVG and Dwight don't get along. SVG is man enough to confront it and Dwight is the one being a passive agressive girl.
i don't think SVG threw a tantrum. i think he answered a direct question honestly. could he have danced around it? yeah. but if i'm him, and my front office and my superstar are hanging me out to dry, i'm not doing anyone any favors by being politically correct.
i think his honestly is refreshing in a world where cliches rule the day.
You keep using terms like "confront it" and "direct question" as it pertains to SVG but you are failing to mention that this was all TO THE MEDIA. Not to Dwight Howard. We have no idea what Dwight and SVG have talked about in private. But when you say SVG confronted it, all you are saying is that he decided to talk to the media instead of the guy right in the same room with him.....Howard! The organization. There is such thing as in-house. Being a tattle tale while the person isn't around isn't confronting things nor being a man about it. Did you notice how quick he got out of there when Howard walked up to him? I don't think Howard avoiding talking to THE MEDIA is passive or that of a girl. It's the media! They not part of the equation.
Being politically correct would be doing YOURSELF a favor. Not Howard nor the organization. Players know (as well as other coaches) you keep a certain level of dignity in keeping confidence with the people you work with whether you agree or disagree. The one thing Howard didn't do, nor the organization is break that code. SVG did. Not to mention, Dwight has denied even saying that. It's not like SVG heard it from the source. He went to the media with what he heard Dwight said. No one from the organization has said that this was said either. The only person saying it is SVG. Does Howard want him gone? Probably! but it was irresponsible for him to go to media with that. When he was asked "Who told you?" he said "I work here". True, but that wasn't the question. He said "From the top". It will be interesting to see what the people from "the top" have to say about this. So save the whole "truth" thing. We don't know yet. After all, SVG is an emotional woman about things.
Let's say you worked at a job knowing that there is a guy you now work with that was fired from a previous job. But before he got fired from that previous job, he decided to go on Facebook, Youtube and all social media in order to air people's dirty laundry. Would you "trust" that guy with any personal information now that YOU work with him?
It's not a matter of who was right or wrong in the situation, it's how it is handled. And like I said, there is enough blame to go around. SVG did himself no favors by going to the media and tattling smh. He's emotional.
