A. Absolutely. (maybe)

Sho' You Right, It's The Defense

smackeddog - of course The Linsanity lineup struggles with Boston, Dallas and San Antonio on the road. Rondo wasn't hearing it, Dirk wanted revenge/ Kidd wasn't hearing it and DeJuan Blair ain't scared of Amar'e.

The Linsanity Lineup that started Jeffries, Shump and Fields was good enough for the moment. Their signature was they hustled on defense.

Forget the scoring. Over the long haul, we need everyone to commit to defense, boxing out and rebounding.

YUP! The offense was better but not great. It was the D which had picked up tremendously. In fact it was the best defensive efficiency in the league over that stretch. That's why we won games. We all knew that wouldn't last once STAT and Melo got major minutes again. I hate to say it, but this team actually need to limit the minutes of STAT and Melo in order to win. They can't dominate the minutes cuz the defense suffers so much with them on the floor and on top of that the offense is less efficient. Those are just the facts based on stats.

+2 It's funny how those 2 always preach defense and have 0 idea on how to play it..

I'm telling you, until this team start running, we will never find chemistry, and we will stuggle mightly in that half cour offense, and thats all on Lin and davis not amare and melo..amare is going to run on offense every single time

knicks1248 - you canot run if you do not rebound. When you run you gotta make accurate passes and catch the ball.

Turnovers are killing us.

Lin must stay aggressive. The correlation between his high turnovers and high assists is worth studying.

Go fast young man.

Bad, bad, bad feelings about this game tonight. The Bucks always seem to have our number even when things were going right, but now this could be very ugly. I think Jennings is going to be pissed we didn't draft him and continue to abuse us until the day he retires. Plus the Linsanity factor which means Jennings will have something to prove against this new sensation. Add in a dash of our only defensive players being out and you get a recipe for the Knicks being demolished by 30!! Prove me wrong Knicks PLEASE . . .

Can't wait for this game. The Bucks are always tough. Hopefully Brandon Jennings doesn't have another, you should have drafted me game.

Besides that, they are looking up at us for the 8th spot so there will be extra motivation. Hopefully, we play with a greater since or urgency.

Marc Berman
Also In New York Knicks
Mike D'Antoni on starting J.R. Smith and Landry Fields at wings with Stoudemire at center and Melo at PF. "They're small. And they play extremely fast. And i want to look at J.R. and get him jump-started. I saw signs of it against San Antonio. He comes into a new team. He also hasn't played here in eight months and it's a different speed (than China).''
Followed a link from a Berman tweet and got this. Is this tonights starting line up?

Not a bad idea IMO. Might as well try it, JR could maybe get hot. We need to spread the floor and keep teams honest so they can't pack the paint. This might actually work. Better than doing nothing cuz these slow starts are killing us.

Lots of shuffling and beating of the bushes. For our sakes, hope it works. We will probably get pounded on the boards. Iilyasova (sp) and Gooden are monsters on the boards. As Earl said, cant run unless you rebound.

We should be starting Lin at Center and Amare at Point Guard. That way when they switch, they will actually be guarding the correct guys for a change LOL!
