We are going to be fine folks. We have a true point guard who can run the floor now and is only going to get better specialy for amare with the pnr. people forget that it was coach D antoni who assigned Melo as the point forward. But i do think Lin needs a backup. Trust me we are going to be real good.

been a knicks fan all my life. grew up with the great 90's teams that were only spoiled becaue of mj. I could give two ****s about personal stats. Of course melo puts up stats i want wins. look i know you are a MAJOR melo fan but you act like he is some hot broad you want to **** lol. I mean in your world he is best player ever. Its ok to point out his flaws it doesn't mean you are vbeing a bad fan it means you are being objective. The problem is that you go on a tangent and dont make sense. Trading melo isn't the answer i never said it was. the best thing to do is like i said let lin run the offense and break down the defense sho he can kick it out to melo or novak or he could set it up for amare or tyson. I agree Lin isn't gonna put up MVP numbers all teh time but there is one thing he has done and that is win. I mean like it or not and for some reason you dont like lin he has helped salvage our season

You are wrong...I'm a major Knick fan and been on a very since the 70's...Forum guy who thinks he has Bobby Knight cred...

did i ever say you weren't a knick fan. im probably the bigegst knick fan so i understand your passion. all i was trying to say is that melo is perfect nobody is sir lol

Bro, don't get it twisted or caught up in the Euphoria...The Knicks need Carmelo, seriously...We needed a PG and looks like we have one, a young one...Our future isn't in BD's hands...I hope he sustains it...

Knicks are 8-15 with Melo. 5-0 without him. Ee dominates the ball. He is a high volume shooter and he does not even shoot it at a good clip. He needs to change or he will be ran out of town. That simple.

Bro Melo is a top ten player and proven...Do you know what Lin will do next game???..Do you have any clue what will happen when he faces the Heat..U don't..None of us know what commodity Lin is...I'm truly hoping he is will starting at the end of the season cause it might mean good things for the Knicks...

this is true, but it's the timing of ball stopping that matters the most, and something that Melo will have to adjust - he hasn't learned all of the nuances of ball dominating that will help his team and shine his individual talents when his team needs it the most.

Thread is pure comedy.

Bulls are like 5-1 without Derrick Rose. Doesn't mean the Bulls don't need Rose.

Melo is the Knicks best player. Suggesting Melo adjust is like telling Lebron to adjust his game for Norris Cole.

Knicks are not the Bulls nor the Heat. Look at the records. If they were, we would not be having this discussion.
Being best player on 8-15 team is not much to brag about.

Same Bulls team that got owned in the playoffs by the Miami Heat.

I dont know if you are knicks fan if not why the **** are you here? and if you are you should be excited because we do hav a pg now and when the other two guys come back we could be lethal.

Melo has shown willingness to adjust his game since coming here and I don't see why anything will change that since being injured..Lin took 23/24 shots the last two games...I think an all around adjustment is in the plans..

Miami won six straight without Wade...Maybe they should release him

Wade has a ring, what does Melo have? Until he helps the team win 1 playoff round, he is a back hole on offense where balls just die. That will have to change.

Maybe they should trade him?? that's bandwagon heat fans been saying on the radio, which I agree is nonsense stupid. Like I said I'm willing to let me try to mesh with the team till next year's trade deadline. If he can't and holds the team back than you trade him. At the end of the day if it's the play offs and your down by 5 in the fourth quarter and your defense has been getting stops I can honestly say Wade, Lebron, Rose are not more clutch than this guy. I think I say the stat somewhere were Melo under 24 secs in the forth quarter down by 2 or tied had the highest field goal percentage. We all known he is clutch. You can only count on one hand how many people are truly clutch and want the ball in his hand and melo is one of them. I'm sure any coach would want him on his team come playoff time. He is dangerous.
