The idea is that unless it was one of those superstar getting, you gotta make this deal right now type of trades, than it shouldn't have been made. Right now this team has been subjected to too many adjustment periods, and they needed some continuity with a key cog like H20 out. The timing was bad.
OK man. You are right. This was a bad trade and all hell has broken loose. We are done for. Forget the knicks because they are going down in the History books as has beens. You are right. Isiah is a moron and we should get Layden back so that we can find consistent scorer's like KVH for our team.

Yes it was a bad trade. Hell hasn't broken lose, the knicks are just worse now. We probably will still squeek into the playoffs. they wont go into history books has-beens, this team never was so i dont know what youre talking about there. isiah isnt a moron, but he made a bad trade and now we are worse off. without houston now,the defiencies of this will be even more apparent.

I've been reading threads on this site for the last 4 mnths now and decided to finally drop my first post.

I would like to point out two things that I don't like. First off, the un-called for fouling is a huge problem. At times i catch myself blaming the ref for the fouls being called, but if players such as Othella, Kurt, Shandon, and Tim weren't making bone head fouls, we would have won this game. Stephon is the man and i feel sorry for him havin been booed on his birthday the day before, and you know he is goin' to catch an ear full for goin' 10-40 (exag.). He needs someone who is aggresive as he is in takin' it to the hole so they to can get fouls. Secondly, I want Othella gone. He sucks, at times he looks sloppy and lazy. I wish he was gone so Sweetney can grow. I hope yall realize Sweetney will be decent someday.

We have to hope for the best and hopefully Isiah has learned not to be so trigger happy. We can't kill him and say Fire Zeke after this trade since he brought us this far. We weren't winning a championship anyway with KVH and Doleac this year. Let's hope for the best this year and if it's a disapointment then changes will be made in the offseaon or within the next three years in order to make us legitimate championship contenders.

sorry thats pretty dumb, yea we weren't winning a championship with kvh and doleac, but we were going to get a fairly good playoff seed, now we might not get in at all. it is apparent we got worse-since TT to most rational observers is worse than kvh, so we got worse. i wouldnt say fire zeke becuase he brought in starbury. but id say he was trigger happy on the wrong move

You are calling this a bad move based on two games? Two games minus a full team nonetheless. We weren't going far with KVH and Doleac. If Isiah thought Tim and Nazr fit better, maybe you should give him a little more time than 2 games! He obviously knows the team, the players and the league better than you.

No silver.the reason i did not respond to you. Was that I had to leave for work. But what I was trying to say.Is that we're not always going to agree with one another on curtain issues...We happened to dissagree on this trade no big deal.I happened to agree with you in a lot of other issues since I'd been here....Is Isaiah a morron? NO. Do I want Scott Layden back? HELLLLLLL NAH!!!!

We're all disappointed but I agree with what Silver and others are saying, we have to give them more than 2 games. Let's give them at least 3 more. If Lenny could find a way to make them work inside our system we will be fine. It's going to take time. It is obvious that TT is is not going to shoot 37% every game since he was at 44% the bucks. He's making the adjustment on the fly, give him a few games. Nazr looks confused on offense and defense but he's a better defender than that and he was averaging over 6pts 5rebs in just 17min in Atlanta. Once the Knicks get a feel for each other and start playing a team game and Houston comes back we will be fine.

Tim Thomas is yourger than Vanny and more athletic, more talented, and more up-side. Experts have suggested along with me that Timmy is a better fit for the way Steph plays, plus, i still never thought that vanny and marb got along well enough that each forgot the problems that had in the past with each other. (you might differ). But Timmy could use some maturity in the way he approaches the game though. doesn't he deserve our support when we give it up to marb when he only played 22 or so games. Keep in mind, marb started out 0-4 and we might have over-looked it as fans because of his tremendous upside. Tim has the same type of upside(maybe not as much as marb, but close) he is marb's age and crap same for naz. For this season, i think the knicks will be happy just making the play-offs, (i wouldn't and i hope they ain't either). With allan's return though, i think the knicks will be fine even in the play-offs, we as fans need to give them time to jell, two games doesn't make a big difference when we have waited 3 years. The team is finally in the play-offs, you might want them to keep moving up the standing as do i, but let's be realistic, look at the records of teams above NY in PO race.
You can just dream about the tremendous possibilities next season as the Knicks might grab a premier low-poster. If not, i would like to think that they would be fine as they are because they would have had time to mature as team (a tremendous team imo)
LOSS for Thoughts...

and oh yea... Marbury is still a joke! and i would still not want a guy like him on my team. You might suggest he's a great point guard with numbers rivaling the BIG O's but the bottom line is, YOU NEED A TEAM TO WIN! winning a championship, NOT REALISTIC IMO WITH MARB AS THE LEADING MAN! MARB STILL NEEDS A GUY THAT HE COULD COUNT ON TO BE BY HIS SIDE IN TERMS OF THE GAME, WEEDIE IS NOT THAT GUY IMO!

KEEP SEARCHING ISIAH!
HAVE ANY PROBLEMS? ADDRESS ME WITH QUESTIONS RATHER THAT WRITING CRAP ABOUT WHAT I WROTE! OK?

Right, so he's younger and more athletics yet take less rebounds and get less travels to the stripe. Great.

More talented ? So please explain me why he best yr is worst than keith worst yr ?

I agree with you on the upside though, cause it's really all he has. 7 yrs in the league is a very long time, should have showed before what he can do.

Wow, experts suggested that ? Are they the same experts that keep on bashing this trade ? on the other point, you may hit something right in the head, as marb didn't really like keith. good point is now he'll have the opportunity to measure how he underestimated vanhorn.

I dunno what maturity you're talking about, maybe the same IT saw. dunno.
Comparaing marb's upside with TT's one, a proven overpaid underachiever makes me wonder if you just mistakely made good points. be serious. TT might be good one day, but no chance he can do what stephon already does.
I understand your point about supporting him though. I've nothing against him and i'd prefer see him tearing the league. Truth is he guy who was playing well has been mysteriously shipped to another team that happens to be one of the teams we were trying to catch up with.

The end of your post only remind me the last chapters of vin baker's biography, so i've tuly nothing to add.
