We have no point guard to get him the ball where he likes it. We don't really run any pick and rolls for him (when thats his biggest strength, and players don't really pass to him or even look for him in the 4th Q.

No one ever said he's a superstar, put he is one of the best PF's in the game. He needs the right system and players to be effective- it would be great if he could excel regardless, but he can't- few players can. I hate the way people have completely erased his performance all of last year (or indeed any past year of his career), and decided that the Amar'e we've seen for the first 13 games (and he had a few good games amongst those) is the Amar'e that has always existed and will be forever more.

I hope he turns things around against the Suns- he should have extra motivation after his performance vs Orlando, and because it's his former team- I hate seeing him embarras himself with they way he's played lately.

Why do we have a coach again?

Knicks gave him 100 million GUARANTEED to come here. Phoenix was only GUARANTEEing 60 million. Easy choice to make for Amare.

Amare STILL refuses to rebound, block out, or defend. I mean dam.

Bosh > Amare at this point. SMH at Amare.

Yeah I been watching the Heat play since I live in Miami and Bosh looks much better than Amare. looks like Bosh would better fit this team at this point. Post up, very good mid range shooter. Moves without the ball. okay defender(not piss poor like Amare).

Yeah. He's much smarter on defense and far more mobile and reactive, but let's not forget that defensive intensity in most players is a product of their environment. Miami eats, breaths and sleeps defense. It's a culture. Add a guy like Bosh and his defensive IQ goes up. Same thing with Allen and Pierce in Boston.

It would take a miracle to do the same with Amare. It actually looks like he is physically limited on defense. I mean it takes work to hedge the screen forcefully and bust your ass back to your man, but to stand there and do nothing guarantees a high percentage shot for the opponent.

Amare would look awesome if he had Wade and Lebron attracting the bulk of the attention....VERY poor comparison. Also, as I said, I believe much of his problem stems from being phased out of the offense by both Douglas who won't pass to him and Melo chucking non-stop.

How can you get in a flow (not talking about the foul trouble) when you get maybe get one touch in a single quarter!! Spans of minutes go by without him even sniffing the rock.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Yup Yup.

In regards with TD, I honestly don't think he can make an entry pass.

Since the 2nd half of last year, Bosh has played way better than Amare has.

put Amare on that Team and he'd make Bosh look like Landry Fields. Poor analogy!

also, he does block shots,...averaged like 2a game last season and, his rebounding has risen. At least it has in the games he's played 30 or more minutes he's been grabbing close to 10rebounds a game.

His defense is still poor but, lets not misrepresent things here.

Wade is injured.

If anything Lebron AND Wade are taking away from Bosh. The guy is soft but he is a skilled big. I think of him as a Gasol type play. Will put up great stats but can never be "the man" on a team.

Bosh is more rounded player than Amare. If Amare isn't scoring he isnt having much effect on the game. It's sad but true.

If Amare wants the ball he should grab some rebounds.

which, does not address my point at all.

Also, your saying he had more impact on the heat that Amare had on the Knicks last year???? Maybe in the playoffs but not during the regular season.

Bosh put up very good numbers in Toronto. It's not Lebron and Wade making him look good.
