Wrong again.

Are you at least starting to realize that this may not be the ideal time for the Knicks to bench Landry?

I'd want Nash as a backup PG, nothing more, and I think he'd be perfect.

Oh - ok. That would be great - if he comes for backup money - sort of a player coach. However, what is the long term solution at PG? Not BD (too old / injury prone). Shumpert is more of a 2 with backup PG duties. TD ?

My guess is that Baron will be a Knicks player for this year and next - he is already getting $14M or whatever from Cleveland. And I don't discount Shump being a long term solution to PG.

Yeah I hope that's the case.

Next season i would love to see us sign Nash and resign Davis and Bibby. Bibby would only see minutes when needed but Nash and Davis could split time and it would not put too much of a load on either one with Nash's age and Davis' health risks. Shumpert can start at SG but handle the ball a lot with Nash spotting up on the wing.

PG Nash (26 mpg)/Davis (22 mpg)/Bibby
SG Shumpert (32 mpg)/Fields, Douglas, or another shooter (16 mpg)

LOL oh well.

* There was no truth to an Internet report the Knicks were on the verge of signing free-agent shooting guard Keith Bogans, in the wake of Toney Douglas’ right shoulder injury. The Knicks had inquired about Bogans a few weeks ago, but nothing came of it and instead they obtained point guard Jeremy Lin, who would have had to be cut for Bogans to be signed.

Cut him. I want Bogans. We need another Defender. Iman and Bogans would HELP keep guys from easily getting into the point. He could be our Stevenson. I think Iman and Bogans could play that role that Marion and Stevenson played on the mavs helping Chandler.

I'm watching Mike James and Julyan Stone playing in the NBDL showcase. I wouldn't mind taking a chance on oen of those guys. Stone looks effective driving to the hope and seeing the floor.

oh didn't hear that about James.

I am not sure about how the NBAD-league works. I thought Stone was invited to Nuggets camp, but perhaps they didn't sign him and he is attached to their D-League affiliate. Or IS he under Nuggets contract and they assigned him to that team for a while?

There's like 3 or 4 players on this Erie Bayhawks team I'd take a look at if we had room.

Devin Green is on the Bayhawks. I'm glad we kept him around.

You are right. I just checked and Stone is signed with the Nuggets.

Bogans kind of sucks...
He can play a role, but its a role a much younger (higher upside player) can also play.

At this point this team needs another Perimeter defender that can shoot the 3 ball. Walker Can't defend like Bogans. Walker kills me with this bone headed Offensive and defensive fouls.
