Prob moved him solidily into the 10-20 round as Crush suggests. Also 6'8" without shoes. So maybe not C material after all, or at least not a regular sized one.http://www.draftexpress.com/twitter.php
I think he is only 18 and not done growing. Hopefully he ends up to be at least 6'10.
No one knows his true age. I dont want a low skill undersized guy with a low ceiling. We have some good options at 17, I'm not interested in Bismack at all. He hopped on the scene from 1 impressive game. I dont trust that.
You might be right about that Killa. Biyombo is intriguing because his strengths match our weaknesses to a tee. He excites me, but at the same I worry he might be more Yink Dare than Ben Wallce. It's hard to gauge a guy like that against weaker competition. At the same time, shotblocking and rebounding are usually skills that translate to the next level.
This quote from that NBADraft.net article caught my eye:
He did look extremely athletic exploding to the rim, as expected, and looked good running the floor despite dropping the ball a few times.
One scout said during the workout, "This is no different than that (Jeremy) Tyler kid that was here last year."
If that's the case, it might be worth the gamble to take best available player and try to get Tyler with another late first or early second round pick. It's a gamble because no one has a definitive clue how this draft will go. Some team might decide to snatch Tyler higher than any of the draft sites have him.
Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.
