Too many good PG's in this draft to pass up on one if he's there. I do like Jeremy Tyler if we can grab another pick. That would be a near perfect draft! Grab one of the good PG prospects and a kid like Tyler and it would be an A+ in my book.

I have no idea how good these PGs will be, but they all seem to have very good size.

Jenkins: 6'3" 220
Morris: 6'5" 190
Jackson: 6'3" 208

All just about the same size and weight as Deron Williams when he first came out: 6'3", 202.

I think the above heights are all with shoes on.

Anyway, all 3 seemed to be described as combo guards who ran the point for their respective teams, so no idea on how they would pan out as PGs in the NBA. Future Rondo's or future TD's?

Position matters in a big way. Yes we have multiple needs but we need a big and a PG more. With Fields and Douglas SG isn't a pressing need. If Billups doesn't recover we're in a lot of trouble regardless. I would still go for the big instead of hedging our bets. We do need a big for several reasons. One of which is to stop bigs from running over us and to let Stat play his normal position instead of breaking down while still getting run over. We could use a post up game as well. I like this Vucevic guy that Briggs was talking about. Not sure if SIngleton fits the role..more of a SF/PF who doesn't shoot theme.

Is there a big man that will be available at 17 that will completely stop other teams big men from killing us??? We aren't drafting to stop opposing big men. We are drafting to fill the depth that we lost when we traded for Melo. Height, position at this point does not matter. We need rebounders, PG's, two guards, size, shot blocking etc. I think you fill any of those needs and you improve the team.

As Martin said, the PG position may be our most pressing need. What if Billups doesn't recover?
