unstopaball12 - please stop with the Shelden Williams routine. Shelden Williams cannot "bang" with big guys. He is a faintly productive 6'9 tweener forward (lacking hops to contest gazelles like Garnett and too weak to box out Big Baby) with no outside shot to speak of, not one signature inside move, devoid of any ball-handling skills, less than average hands to catch in traffic and who owns a propensity to pick up personal fouls.

But I am certain his is a nice guy

yea, the shelden williams stuff is baffling. with STAT limited to 18 minutes in game 2 in a must-win game, shelden williams saw 0 minutes. if he's not going to get time in a must win when STAT only plays 18 minutes, theres no point of keeping him around.

prob got zero minutes cause he would have had to guard KG on the perimeter. Williams is better against low post guys.

Martin, for the life of me I cannot think of one low post NBA center or forward who Sheldon Willliams dominates... or breaks even with.

Not one.

Just for the fun of it, can you come up with someone that Jeffries dominates or breaks even with?

Tatoo takes Jeffries to the hole and pump fakes him to Bolivian with the "and one"

Three point play

Jeffries gets the ball on the other end...

Marv Albert: "Tatoo with steal!"

unstopaball12 - I call 13th man bull**** on Jeffries as insurance.

1. Chauncey Billups (his knee is not looking good) and the best available lead guard (no combo guards please) at 17 (Morris) with Anthony Carter for heart and soul (3)

2. Landry Fields, Toney Douglas (who can swing to the one if his shoulder was holding his brain back) and everyone knows two guards are a dime a dozen (3)

3. Carmelo Anthony, Shawne Williams at skill forward (2) a free agent makes (3)

4. Amare, the always brittle Turiaf (who is NOT a center) and a summer league free agent discovery to be named later (3)

5. The best 6'10+ Donnie Walsh can scoop out of Europe or Africa who can make a layup in traffic and grab a mans rebound, a free agent or purchased pick and Jerome Jordan (fingers crossed) (3)

That's 15.

Sobriety be damned

The Knicks do not need another shooter. We need someone who can manage the floor, understand the angles and hit the open man.

Long live the BBC.

If Darius Morris is sitting there at 17, you grab him.
